Very good quality cream of rice. I use it before the gym and it gives solid fuel for training. The brand is reliable, but stock is often limited. Flavors are not very strong and reviews are mixed, yet the product itself performs well.

I’ve been really enjoying Applied Nutrition’s Cream of Rice. It’s become a really convenient way of getting my carbs in without having to prepare a full meal. The texture is smooth and creamy, and it mixes really easily with both hot and cold water or milk. I also like that you can adjust the amount of liquid depending on whether you want it thicker or more like a porridge. Applied Nutrition states that a 30g serving provides 25g of complex carbohydrates, so it’s an easy option when you want to increase your carb intake. The flavour is probably my favourite part. It tastes much better than some of the bland cream-of-rice products I’ve tried before, and it makes getting your carbs in feel more like an enjoyable meal rather than something you’re forcing down. It’s also really convenient before training because it’s light and easy to prepare. I can make a bowl in just a couple of minutes, add whatever toppings I want, and I’m ready to go. The tub is also a good size and should last a decent amount of time, especially if you’re using it regularly. Overall, really happy with this product. Great taste, good texture, easy to prepare and a very convenient carb source. Definitely something I’ll be buying again.
