I have medium brown natural hair color. My husband wanted it lighter as I am aging. I have always used L'Oréal or Clairol products. This is the first time in my life my hair color turned out EXACTLY as predicted ! The color product was odorless, thick, and non-threatening. After the process, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the outcome !!! I am using the Follow My Color process with highlights, as others often turn my hair red. The product did not ! I have the color I was wanting. I used a 9NA Medium Cool Blonde with Ash Undertones (Pisa Blonde), and I received a BEAUTIFUL Medium Blonde canvas with Ash Undertones. My husband said, "Do not highlight your hair. It's PERFECT!" I am 71, and I can't recall the last time my husband of 52 years ever said I was near perfect. I wish I had taken pre- and post-photos. OMG! I have colored my hair for years and used L'Oreal Products only. I finally decided to give Madison Reed a try! IT IS WONDERFUL! No smell! Easy to use. Grays? Covered them right up. My hair actually felt better after using the Colarant, the Shampoo, and the Conditioner. This will now be my go to! It might be a little pricier than the L'Oreal, but Hey Its worth it!

Would give zero starts. Terrible coverage and my hair is falling out ever since I switched to this product. I gave it a couple tries with plenty wait in between, about 6 months. Immediately after the first try my hair was just breaking off. I did not connect it to MR yet and after 6 months of hair thinning I colored my roots only. Again, this time even worse, I am losing all my hair. When I googled for reviews I found so many people complaining about hair breakage and loss and that this product is actually way worse than similar products on the market. I highly recommend you don't even try it if you don't want to lose half your hair...

Nice but very light. I esnted a medium blond and this is a light blonde. It is easy to use, and it doesn't smell bad. Great for covering gray. My only complaint is that it is very blonde. I did try the next step darker and it is too dark. Next time I'm going to mix 2 together. I'll use half and half of each of them.

Best DIY home color I've ever used. Lasted longer than most home kits.
