My first sharpening stone and i love it.
My first sharpening stone and i love it. I’m just finding more knives to sharpen as i love the results. This is a great grit combo. 600 grit to get that dull knife sharp with a semi rugged edge and 1500 grit to fine tune it. This stone will not get you that extremely sharp edge that sushi chefs need.

Inexpensive but nice quality.
I purchased this after almost completely slicing the end off of my left thumb off due to my old sharpening stone being rather short and my getting distracted. This thing is a nice size and the rubber base will keep it from sliding around on the kitchen counter. You won’t have to hold it in place with your hand.
