Excellent sound, comfort and quality
Bought these for use on walks and for their sound quality in an office environment. Their use for Microsoft Teams is perfect too. The microphone department is really good. As I have them now they are comfortable and never fall out. And yes they can be used in the shower if that is your thing, they are water proof to a depth of 1m for 30 minutes. That's more than enough for me. The ANC and Transparency modes are ok since recent firmware updates, but the ANC is still not great. They remind me of the Bowens & Wilkins PI7's (of which I had 4 faulty pairs & gave up) in that department. The ANC seems to take out the hum of an air purifier, but that is all. Don't get these if your objective is a quiet environment where any noise is cancelled out. The quality of the build has always been great with B&O. My old original E8's still work fine, but needed to be glued together after many years of gym use and the occasional drop. The EQ's while sounding great look clunky in comparison to these. And yes the bass response is much clearer and pronounced on these, but very refined. My usual volume comfort level is achieved around 60-70%, music is described so clearly that there's no need to crank it up so that your eardrums hurt. The soundstage is wide and clear and only fails against full headphones in the description of musical instrumentation on the far left and right of a 180 degree sound stage. I would say the far left and right is about 85% of the description of full H95 corded headphones. And yes these seem to need time for the bass frequency to develop too. I nearly sent them back straight away. I have replaced the tips with Comply Sport Pro B&O Earbud Tips - Medium which are a few millimetres longer than the ones in the box, as these seemed to short for my ears. It took a week of playing these about 6-8 hours a day for them to start sounding great. My sound eq adjustment slowly wandered up from 100% warm (bass with reduced treble) to 50% excited (increased bass and treble response). Popular scientific opinion says that burn in doesn't exist, but my ears seem to require it. The BeoSound Equaliser is an unusual beast but seems to deliver for people not used to handling equaliser presets and what they can do. Preferences can be saved and it is really quite good. So these earphones are currently a mixed blessing, but meet my needs. I keep searching for similar specifications, but nothing in this style and specification seems to really hit the mark. The case is a quality item too and unlike some reviewers I don't find they damage easily. They appear to be anodised, and not painted, high grade aluminium. It is really quite nice and I don't find them bulky either. I hope this helps you make an informed decision on these very expensive earbuds. You are buying into a product that will probably last several years. The EQ's and EX both deliver and are made by the same manufacturer Merry Electronics. It's September 2022 now and they still work great, no faults, the case is still undamaged and that despite carefree handling.

Loved them. But Not great at all with Apple Watch (S7-45mm-SS)
Rating purely based on the connectivity issues. Everything else would have been an easy 5 starts across the board for me. Even with the high price tag. After all, you get what you pay for! Absolutely loved these buds. The sound quality, comfort & volume must be the best money can buy right now. Battery life fantastic as well. The precision sound quality really is outstanding and something to behold. Unfortunately for me personally, at least with the set I had the intermittent connectivity issues when paired with Apple Watch Series 7 was a deal breaker for me and in the end I reluctantly returned them for refund. I was hoping a firmware update would be released to solve the issues I faced. Unfortunately when I consulted Amazon on a few occasions I was instructed to just return for refund. I did reset, unpair & repair with all devices a couple of times and even tried pairing with my daughters Apple Watch SE and had the same random connectivity issues. Music/podcasts still playing according to the watches with zero sound after some crackling. This happened when streaming and playing downloaded media through Apple Watch. I don’t have this issue when using Original V1 AirPods, AirPods V3 or AirPods Pro V1. So the issue must be with the B&O EX. Please fix this B&O. This issue aside the B&O EX are simply the best earbuds in the world as of the review

The Best Earbuds By Far
I have owned other top of the range ear phones from other top brands, but these are the best by a long way in terms of sound quality. The noise cancelling is on par with other well performing ear buds. They come with a selection of different size rubber bits to fit individual ears. I use mine everywhere, including in the gym so they stay in. The only drawback is the battery life is slightly shorter than other brands, but if you bring the charging case out with you then you have enough charge for a long journey. In terms of sound quality though the Beoplay EXs are simply in a class of their own. Which is actually a problem as after years of use the battery will eventually not hold a charge and you will have to replace them but you will never be able to choose different earbuds and these are not cheap! But you get what you pay for and if you want the best, these are it.

Buy them for the sound, not for the Noise Cancellation.
I wanted a pair earbuds that had really good sound quality that could be on par or better than Bose earbuds. After watching reviews online, i thought ill give them a go and see if they are what people say. To my surprise the sound quality are really good! You can use the app to adjust EQ settings to your liking, but i would have prefered it if they used sliders to tune the EQ. Some cons i have with these earbuds: 1) Noise cancellation/ transparency mode is not great - I used them for running and i find it difficult to hear cars coming by me. The NC is there but its definiely not as good as some others. 2) connectivity issues - From time to time the connection will blip and your music will cut out for a few seconds. Overall if your looking for some earbuds that has good noise cancellation, you're better off going with Bose or Sonys. Since i already have another pair earbuds for noise cancelling im not too bothered about these having poor NC.

So easy to set up, very comfortable and the sound is exceptional
Absolutely fantastic !!. I’ve had several over the years, many ridiculously expensive, but never really found them comfortable nor the sound particularly inspiring. These were comparatively inexpensive so I thought I’d give them a go, not really expecting much. They were so simple to set up via the B&O app, they are very comfortable, they are the first pair I’ve had that NEVER fall out whatever I’m doing, and the sound is exceptional. There is excellent separation, I can hear every instrument, every nuance, and the bass is very impressive. I’m delighted and highly recommend them. p.s. I have very small ear channels.

Very disappointed. Sound not as good as others and noise cancellation doesn't work.
I'm really disappointed with these Bang and Olufsen Beoplay EX. I thought I'd treat myself and splashed out one these high end earbuds and expected very high things based on reviews I've seen but I found them disappointing, in fact there's so many negatives I can only assume I have a faulty pair. Firstly the sound, it's good but it's not the best I've heard. I've tried all the different sized eartips including the comply foam ones to ensure it wasn't a fitting issue but the sound just isn't as good as I was expecting. yes there's a lot of clarity but there's not much 'punch' regardless of how I set up the EQ, especially in kcik drums. I also think the treble is a little harsh sounding and if you reduce it on the EQ it then becomes muffled, I could not get a n nice balance. This could in part be due to the EQ on the app, you cna't control individual frequencies like you can on other earbuds and I think this is a big oversight from B&O. I'd assume most people spending this kind of money are music enthusiasts and as a result you'd expect better control of the sound. I honeslty think the Technics EAH-AZ80 sound much better. I don't currently have the Bose QuietComfort II to test side by side but from memory they also sounded better to me. Next up is the noise cancellation, this is where I think I must have a defective product as it does nothing, absolutely nothing. If you scroll through from active to transparent to neutral it makes absolutely no difference regardless of eartip size used. I also have a grumble about how ANC is displayed on the new B&O app, there's just symbols for each different ANC option without saying which is which. OK you cna make an educated guess but it's not clear. I also read how comfortable these earbuds are however for me they weren't, causing discomfort after 20 mins. OK I've not found any earbuds that are truly comfortable for me, but I have used some where I don't start to get discomfort until at least an hour use. Something else that I'd not read about is that there's a lot of external sound coming from these earbuds, my wife commentated how annoying it was when I was listening to them that she could hear the music coming from them too, this is not something I've encountered from earbuds before. The only positive thing I have to say is the build quality is top notch. I read this in reviews but I thought how can they feel much different to any other but they do, the earbuds and case are beautifully crafted. Clearly with all of these negatives I will be returning these and will stick with my Technics.

it's all about the tips
The tips that come as standard are useless and too small you need to find larger ones to get that seal right. I have small ears but use large tips. I am guessing the bad reviews come from people who do not get this correct. Once the seal is sorted the sound is cinematic you FEEL the music I got a few goosebumps and with plenty of bass and that's before you experiment with the app which is very sophisticated with hundreds of combinations, you use a virtual circle dial to emphasise bass, treble, warmth, energy you could play all day and get different effects. I have earbuds from campfire, shure, westone and Final, these are the best up to now. They are comfortable and look stylish. You can activate the wind guard to ON permanently. I never used the ANC I have no need for it.

Sound pretty good but Bluetooth is sketchy
When these arrived, I thought they were the best thing ever. They look fantastic & sound great. They fit well, aren't heavy & are easy to use, with the tap/hold functions. The batteries last well on the earphones & case. The app is good too. There's lots of positives but one big negative. I went for a drive wearing them, using an Astell&Kern SR35 as source. The Bluetooth connection was on & off for ages. I wondered if it may be my new A&K, so tried a process of elimination. I testing it with B&W headphones & a Bose speaker, it worked fine. I tried the B&O with my phone & they were marginally better on Bluetooth connection but the sound quality diminished. Staying in one location, they work fine, so it's interference from wireless signals when out & about which kills the enjoyment. The whole point of these, is so you can listen to music, when out & about. I ended up purchasing some wired earbuds. A&K Campfire Audio Pathfinder. Since using those, the B&O sound cheap & artifical. I can't go back to them. To be fair, the wired ones are obscenely expensive & there's no loss through a cabled connection. It's too late to return them & hopefully I'll find a use for them one day. I hope if you do buy them, your Bluetooth connection is better than I experience. So much promise but it ended in disappointment.

Amazing, but…
This is a great headphone right out of the box and you can’t compare these with bose, Sony or bowers and Wilkins. I have the EQ and EX and here is the comparison. The EQ is bulky (not as large as Bose) but has a smaller charge case and the sound is a notch better than the EX and clearer and lovely to listen on default settings The EX is slimmer like the air pods but has a bulky charge case and the sound is great but not crispy clear in comparison to the EQ. Pairing is easy and no delays. The eq or ex are stellar with only tiny comparisons between each other. A definite W for your playlist!

Klingt fantastisch
