TUSITA Magnetic Charger Compatible with Withings Scanwatch | Scanwatch Horizon Smart Watch - 1M

Works like a charm with my Withings watch, and a tenth of what it would have cost from Withings directly.

It works great since I lost my original Withings charger

Magnetically paired to Withings watch firmly and charged quickly. Performed as needed. Just got it, so can’t evaluate performance. Update, I recommend not to buy. It appears to overcharge. I got accustomed to having to reset my watch hands after every charge. I am going in for a heart procedure next week and last charge it wiped out all of my personal stored data. I’ll pay the $25 for withings replacement charger rather than risk more damage.

The magnetic part seems to connect better than the charger that came with my watch. I bought this because I couldn’t find my original charger, but I now use it more than my original charger as it doesn’t randomly disconnect as much as the stock charger.

As others have pointed out, this for some reason stops the hands of the watch and you then have to go reset the hands. The good news is, the watch charges. I was kind of in a spot and had no choice but to try this.

It works and yup, - the analog hands are wonky after charging. So you do have to go into the app, and "set the time" to spin the app clock face hands to 12 for it to display correctly. Doesn't affect the actual time on the digital portion - just the analog hands.

Keeps my Phone well charged!

The Very Bad. The very Bad is the magnetism is so strong that it freezes the hands of the watch while charging. This is the second third party seller I purchased from and both units cause the watch hands to freeze when charging. The watch can be reset but I have to believe that over time this repeated type of restriction will cause permanent damage. The Good. The positive side is that a least someone is selling these because Withings sight when checked was not only out of stock but charging more than twice the amount. Also, there is no guarantee that their replacement won’t come from a third party and have the same issue. When making the second purchase from Tusita I did so knowing it was very likely that I have the same problem I had with the first seller. However, viewing the pictures that Tustia presented in their ad of the internal parts, I felt there might be a fix and there was. The Fix! There are two magnets inside the unit if I could reduce the magnetism or the size of the magnets, I figured that would be the fix. I was right but the how to do this depends on what you have available. The easy solution would be to pass unit through a demagnetizer until the magnetism is reduced enough. However, I don’t have nor did I desire to build a demagnetizer. So, I then placed magnets on the end of a hammer and whacked onto concreate. I wanted to disrupt the strength of the magnetism but the material is not a hard metal and shattered to pieces. The positive was there were still a couple of pieces large enough to use. So, I placed the pieces back inside the holding channels and tried to see if the unit would still bond with the watch and it did. Note: you have to set the poles of the magnets correctly so multiple inserting will likely be required as it was the case for me. I finally got the magnets position and glued it back together. The unit still had plenty of magnetism and bonded fast without freezing the hands. I would suggest breaking magnets with pliers and using one third on each side. Yea I know not the best solution but currently for many it may be worth attempt and the effort. Whole process took me about an hour and cost was low enough to try. Good Luck!

Très bon chargeur ! J avais un doute suite aux anciennes appréciations ( aimant trop puissant, heures changeantes lors de la charge). Soit le produit a été adapté aux critiques soit j ai de la chance. Après une dizaine de chargements ...aucun soucis ( vitesse de chargement , aimant de fixation ...). .

Tut was es soll... Hatte das orginale Lade-Adapterkabel von meiner Scanwatch verbasselt. Hängt bei mir an einem USB-Ladehub und funktioniert. Kabellänge könnte gerne 50 cm länger sein. Achtung: Die unterschiedlichen Withing-Uhren benötigen unterschiedlich Lade-Kabel. Dieses scheint speziell für die Scanwatch zu funtionieren. Die z.B. anderen Steel-Modelle benötigen wieder andere Lade-Adapter.
