What kind of pizza’s do you love to eat?I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) rhyming pizza styles storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (pizza ingredients), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; Imaginary Publishing; BookSends; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Super cute
A super fun rhyming book about a kid who loves pizza. It was just the right length to hold my boys' attention.

Funny.
Nothing wrong with being fat. And pizza won’t make you fat, but who is here for the message? Nice illustrations and good level for 1st/2nd grader.

... buy this unless you think that fat shaming is funny and appropriate for children
Don't buy this unless you think that fat shaming is funny and appropriate for children. I read it and immediately put it right in my garbage.

Not for me
I wish, instead of focusing on how the main character’s body looked, the book had focused on how eating so much pizza everyday made him feel. Maybe he felt greasy, or eating too much made him queasy. Or his body felt sluggish. It’s a fair point from other reviewers that fat shaming, or placing too much emphasis on a person’s appearance can be psychologically damaging. Others may have some medical conditions that make them look different.I applaud the attempt of the author to focus on showing kids that healthy eating is important. However, for me, not wanting a “fat tummy” seems to teach kids that the reason to eat well is to maintain a good appearance (which leads to the converse idea that those who don’t have a certain appearance must be eating badly and not care about taking care of themselves).Again, I’d rather see a book that focuses on how eating healthy makes a kid feel, helping them grow, get more energy, etc. but that’s just my opinion.

A book for body shaming
Are you kidding me? This is the most pathetic children's book I've ever read. Never again. Had potential but you blew it.

good start
It was a good start but when it got to the last couple of pages it went odd. It changed from a cute book about pizza to a book about being fat.

That was a great treat
I loved the rhymes! :)It was fun and easy to read the book quickly for the kids at night. They were curious about the illustrations but you don't really need to show them.Definitely recommend this book, especially free in the ekindle unlimited access account.

Love it!
This is another lovely book by Josh McManus, we loved it!The illustrations are really well done and work wonderfully with the story but they are simple enough in their style that even younger children can associate with them. The story, as with all the books by Josh McManus, is really funny (we had lots of giggles over eating pizza on the loo!) and the rhythmic flow of the story keeps children interested. This book is really well suited to younger children perhaps around 4-7. We read with a five and a ten year old and got giggles from both! From a parent perspective I also liked the healthy eating message at the end!Great book, would definitely recommend.
