I snapped my original wand while it was bouncing around in the bed of my truck. This was a direct replacement for Ryobi and works great. Highly recommend.

Good replacement

This replacement wand is exactly what I needed. I had a leaky original hose on my Ryobi sprayer, and this stainless steel upgrade is a night-and-day improvement. Here’s why it’s better than the stock part: Superior Quality: This is much better quality than the original part that came with my sprayer. The short, stiff stainless steel material is fantastic. I much prefer it over the original bendy wand. It feels sturdy and durable. Fixes the Leaks: It was easy to install and immediately replaced the old, leaky hose, getting my sprayer back in perfect working order. Installation Note: The installation itself is pretty straightforward, but you might want to watch a quick video online beforehand. There are a few screws that aren't the easiest to remove and put back in, so having a visual guide helps a lot. It took me less than 15 minutes total. Highly recommend this replacement part if your original is failing or if you just want a quality upgrade!

Broke after just two weeks. The new wand consistently sprays even when the trigger isn’t pulled. The OEM wand won’t fit because the hose screw is a different size. I barely missed the return window.

I like this new wand much better than the original. It's shorter which is kind of weird but the trigger mechanism works much better and the metal tip is sweet. I use this professionally several times a day and I refuse to buy an entire new sprayer when one inch of the hose is shot. Ryobi does not make it easy to change it out though. I had to buy $25 worth of tools but once you have what you need its a 5 minute job. You will need a Torx t15 with an extra long shaft, so I purchased a set from home depot that had 5+ inch long reach to remove the outer case. Then once inside I discovered that the two clamp screws require a Security Torx bit. Would've meant a second trip to HD but Amazon had a set available with same day delivery so I ordered it. As I said, the job is a snap if you have the right tools. Now I have LOTS of Torx. I generally love my Ryobi tools but I was cursing them yesterday for what clearly was their attempt to discourage replacing parts.

Does not "turn-off" after releasing pressure on the control tab. Possibly the valve stem is too tight or the spring is too weak to return it to the off position. The wand & hose are good and appear to be of equal quality as the original. I just wish it would turn off.

The hose connection to the sprayer is a fine thread on the hose line. The connection on the sprayer for the hose is a coarse thread. I cannot use this product.
