I'm not usually one to start throwing around over-inflated accolades when it comes to hair care products, so trust me when I say that this is a GAME CHANGER for me. I've worn my hair straight for over 4 decades of my life, since when it was left to air dry, my hair would expand into a huge, swirling vortex of chaos, frizz, uneven waves, and a couple of random curls in weird places. Some education on how to care for wavy/curly hair sent me down the rabbit hole of product after product, trying to make my natural waves/curls look like the women in the curly product ads. All of the ads and how-to videos all seem to require a minimum of three hair products, specialized drying techniques, a phoenix feather, a haiku to the gods of hair care, and a drop of unicorn blood to get the same results. And even then, the results were over-perfumed, dull, sticky and/or crunchy at best, and lost hold throughout the day. And here's the problem for me: I'm a chronic hair-toucher. I can NOT stop messing around with it all day long. With most of the curly hair regimens, that leaves me with uneven crunchiness, hair that flattens out over the course of the day, and sticky, perfumey hands. And I can tell you with absolute confidence that no partner wants to run their fingers through crunch and stickiness either. Enter, Love Ur Curls all-in-one. For starters, with this I only need to buy one product, and I don't need to waste time in the morning layering a bunch of things onto my hair, and a little goes a long way. Further, the scent is light and disappears quickly, leaving just the scent of my shampoo/conditioner. And the final results are as good or better than the more complicated curly hair systems. It gives good definition and hold, but more than this - and here's where you can imagine the light of the sun breaking through the clouds and a choir of angels singing from on high - my wavy hair is both touchably soft and NOT STICKY AT ALL. My search is over. I need no other curl products. TL;DR - Good value, light scent, gives great curl activation and definition all in one product, all-day hold, and leaves curls touchable and soft, without grease, stickiness, or crunch. 100 stars on a scale of 1 to 10.

I have been using this product for a year now and I love it. I do like to use a curl mouse along with it for extra definition and hold, but it can be used alone. It smells great and makes it so I can detangle my hair after washing it. I have dense, fine, 3c curls and washing it is a PITA because it tangles so much. I apply this, after conditioning, to wet hair in the shower. I just squeeze out the excess water then apply, making sure to coat evenly. Then I wrap my hair in a microfiber towel and finish getting ready. I comb through my hair with a wide tooth comb after the product has sat in my hair for 10-15 min. Then I apply a hair style mouse. I typically air dry my hair. If I defuse it, it will become a lot fuller, which is nice too, but I rarely give myself enough time in the morning to do so. Ha!

Love this product! My hair is naturally wavy-curly, very curly underneath & straighter on top. This makes a huge difference in & enhances the appearance of my curls overall. I can use the Wavy or Curly version, but use less of the Curly for each application. My tips: buy the version that matches your curl type. A significantly “curlier” version is more likely to weigh down the hair. And, you really do have to apply it to wet hair. Most of us have learned to wait & apply product when hair is damp, but this one definitely works best on wet hair. I use water in a mister bottle to freshen the product & my hair on days between washes & I’ll often use this to wet my hair a little more after showering to ensure that the product “takes.” I wash my hair at night, about every 3-4 days, then apply this product, starting in the back/underneath and applying to coat each section. I can comb it through thoroughly & then the curls will spring back when scrunched through. I let it air dry about 20-30 minutes. Then I apply a combination of gel & a creamy/smoothing product and scrunch into the underside & throughout. I find that keeps my curls more defined and they hold better. Go to bed w/hair damp and splayed out over my pillow (on a silky pillowcase!). Mist the outer layer with water in the morning, scrunch in a bit more gel/cream, shape & it’s perfect. Avoiding hairspray helps ensure I can refresh w/water for several days without washing. I’ve only used this product - none of the other LUS shampoos, conditioners, or stylers. Makes a huge difference & I highly recommend! While I get the best results with the additional products mentioned above, if I could only use one product, it would be this one. 7/2026 - still loving this product! My 18 year old son who has natural waves & a few curls when the top grows out enough has also discovered it and uses it after every shower. Most important: (1) have a mister & ensure hair is wet when you apply product & (2) especially if you follow with a gel - do NOT finger comb or fluff or in any way play with the hair while it’s drying! Let it dry all the way & then scrunch and shape!

I do t use anything else! I pray they never take this stuff off the market. I have tight curls and this is the only product that keeps my curls defined and soft! If you have curls, buy this.

I've been using LUS styling cream for several years, off and on (taking breaks when I get an ultra short pixie cut). I love the way it defines my curls while leaving them soft and shiny. I'm not a huge fan of the fragrance, and once again I forgot to shop for the unscented version :( Oops!

Works pretty good. It’s virtually impossible to find a product that stops frizz in the summer humidity. It doesn’t stop frizz completely, but definitely helps.

I was a bit disappointed with this product. For the price, I was expecting much better results. 4b-4C hair types- too much product can leave the hair dull, stiff, hard, and looking dried out. I did not think the product left my hair hydrated and it was stringy in places. Fortunately, I had other hair product brands - much needed back up products on hand to fix things. You will need to apply additional products to your hair, like oil, custard, lotion, serum, or your favorite cream if you like your hair to look vibrant, healthy or shiny. The 3rd step is the key; finger curl, scrunch, satin roll curl, braid, use wet curl rods, or twist hair into the desired style while still wet. Step 3 all-in-one kinky-coily fragrance free is thick and you may need to lift the top out of the bottom to apply. I like to part my hair on the side or in the middle, then comb hair into the desired style direction(s), then twist or braid about 10 twists or braids rows downward, allow to dry and after it is dry, finger comb twist or braids for a more salon look. Edge control. edge gel, or edge pomade may also be needed on your front edges. If you just wash, condition, and apply step 3 fragrance free kinky-coily or the curly boucles with shea butter and moringa oil to wet hair and comb; when it dries it will look a frizzy mess or like an unorganized struggling afro (if you didn't follow the step 3 styling instructions). FYI; if you don't have the time to fix the hair situation and are in a hurry after your hair dries- just grab a nearby wig and head out the door or pray that you don't run into anyone that loves to critique your look). For those going through transition stages or have hair strands that mimic many nations in your bloodline, remember, you are not alone, all hair types are genetically different; the products may work just fine on your hair. Try it you may like it. I have used products that worked much better on my multi-nation 4b-4c hair because I like a hydrated look (Paul Mitchell's intense moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and Aveeno's line of moisturizing shampoos and conditioners) both product lines leave my hair more manageable, healthy looking, and are definitely less work; basically after shampooing and conditioning with the other product lines; I can comb through my hair. allow to dry in the desire style, and my curls are defined.

I bought all the products for my daughter she was having a lot of issues with her hair know her hair is growing back and it looks so hydrated and her curls are coming back. We love this hair care line.

It's good but hold is little less, have to use gel with it

My cousin who is a hair dresser recommended this brand to me as I've always struggled with styling my hair, makeup, and things along those lines. I grabbed the "curly" version to try, as the natural roots and underside of my hair is naturally curly, but struggles to hold an unnatural curl and is always unevenly curled throughout my layers. The first time I tried this product as directed and it almost was too much curl and looked a bit unnatural for my style of hair. The next few times, I found myself using less of the product and not soaking it in water as directed, but instead towel drying my hair and adding small amounts of water with the product as needed. This seems to be the best strategy to achieving more evenly curled hair across various length and weighted layers. Overall, I have yet to find a product that works as well as this one for the affordable price point. It also smells great and makes me fee very clean and put together after using. I may consider downgrading and trying the "wavy" version of the product in the future, but for now, this one works great and I'd highly recommend it.

I've been using this product now for over three years, great, non-greasy, gives your curls a natural bounce.

I haven't tried many curl creams but this one is definitely my favorite! Curls are so defined without frizz or feeling heavy like you put way too much product in. I'm 40 but more recently have tried embracing my curls. I never wanted to do the whole gel crunch thing so this makes it super easy. Its also a great detangler. My daughter's hair isn't as curly as mine but when I put the cream on her hair to try it out I couldn't believe how easy it was to brush her hair. My son also uses it for his longer curly hair. I do put a tiny bit of oil in after just to help seal a few fly aways. It also seems to work decently for second and third day hair where I spritz it with water and scrunch it a little.
