This unit is much better than I anticipated. Very well packaged in a manner that waste no space and is compact. The multitude if components are each individually wrapped neatly and upon 1st test the unit performed extremely well. Assembly was so simple I never looked at any instructions. Has the features that are most needed built in and well placed. Hats off to the manufacturing company for a product that is efficient, heats up instantly, compact, performs very well and all at a price that is very affordable! If I could have given the item 6 stars I would have..Now the test of time begins as well as the customer service if needed test. I will update if there are problems as they may arise later. But as of today (1st day) I am very happy with the purchase. No updates = No issues.. Great product! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality high performance yet affordable soldering station.

I use a soldering iron for work on RC car connections. This is a perfect little setup for that with everything needed right in the box, except maybe some solder wick for removing solder, but that's not even 100% necessary. The unit heats up very quickly. It's a great design with all the added accessories that attach right to the unit and doesn't take up a lot of bench space. I think it's a great value does a great job for what I need it for. The local hobby shop sells a larger, lesser wattage unit without all the extras for almost twice the price. Glad I found this one on a good sale!

Pleasantly surprised with this cheap little station. My experince with cheap soldering irons have so far been the ones you plug in the wall and hoping its hot enough, but this station has a temperature readout that seems to be accurate within a few degrees F. I tested this by setting the temp below the melting point of my solder of choice, then slowly working it up to the melting point. It melted the solder when the readout was 2 degrees F less than the labeled melting point of the solder, not bad at all considering the price.The construction is all metal, meaning im not worried about damaging the station with the iron like I would be with a plastic build like Ryobi or Dewalts offerings.Ive run the iron for about 3 hours desoldering and re soldering a mechanical keyboard project, and it never faltered in its operation. I just with the light and magnifying glass was a bit longer for bigger stuff like that, but I used my personal soldering magnifying glass for the keyboard.Overall, this is a bang for your buck soldering station that works great, just make sure to buy your own solder, the stuff provided is kind of crap.

Excellent soldering station for occasional home use. I used it to assemble an amateur radio kit, which required a lot of soldering and it did a fantastic job. Between the various sized tips, the helping hands, and the magnifier (which was a HUGE help with the tiny soldering points on the PCB I was working on), this soldering station is a winner. It heats up SUPER fast and just works as intended. Would highly recommend and would buy again.

The WEP 927-IV Soldering Station is a tremendous working iron. This version is a nea complete package that will satisfy most anyones need to do some repairs and building of electronics. I personally have a couple of just irons and always found the irons not up to the job most of the time. This kit has a variety of tips for different needs, the iron heats up nearly instant and holds the temp. I can't recommend this enough, it's a great system for a small price that I wish I bought long ago. It really helped me out with some projects I've had on the back burner to repair. I can highly recommend this, it works really well and impressed me.

Good all in one package for cheap, Good value and build quality. Functions like a normal soldering iron and works very well. Included tips are useful and the arms for holding pcbs are very usable and not stiff but flexible.

It went from room temperature to 450F in a matter of seconds which was a pleasant surprise. Swapping out the tip head was easy. And I really liked how sturdy the base is because my biggest reason for getting a $50 over a $15 soldering iron is the flimsy base being a safety hazard on the cheaper ones.My biggest gripe is there's no way to turn off the solder heat but keep the unit on so you can't use the magnify glass light without turning on the iron. The minimum temp you can set is ~400 F (200 C). The closest thing you can do is leave it on sleep mode which keeps the nozzle at a min 194F, still way above room temperature. Because of this you also can't read when the nozzle is room temperature and safe to touch for swapping tips. You just have to leave it alone for a while and hope it's no longer hot. As soon as you turn on the unit it will heat up and it heats up FAST as previously mentioned.Despite this, I do really like this unit and it has a lot of features that make soldering a little easier.
