Great color, healthy hair!
This is just the color I was hoping for! My hair was auburn when I was a lot younger. It got darker and darker, losing my red as I got older. Then came the white and silver hairs. I realized that the dark hair gave my face a harsher look, especially after weight loss and a bad case of the flu! I needed a pick-me-up, needed to feel better about my aging look. I bought Schwarzkopf BlondMe 9+ with 20 vol developer. I knew with such dark hair that I'd need more than one go at getting it light enough to be a pretty blonde because I have fragile hair and going to a level 8 or 9 in one shot wouldn't be a good idea. I waited 10 days between bleaching (and let me tell you, that orangey-yellow was not beautiful!) and got it to almost a 9. The roots and most of the lengths were very light. The ends were still a touch yellowy. I ordered this stuff, in Medium Cool Blonde (cool would help diffuse those yellows). I put it on and BOOM! Perfect. Exactly what I wanted! I absolutely love it. My grays look like highlights. I couldn't be happier, and my hair is healthy! Going blonde from dark is possible, but DON'T RUSH! Take your time. Let your scalp and hair rest between applications if you can. :)

7A is great for brassy orange hair!
I love this color for toning my orange, yellow brassy hair. It’s a bit dark at first, but it does fade lighter over time. I applied it on towel dried hair and processed for 10 minutes instead of 20 minutes since ash tones can look very dark. I missed a few spots but, overall, I’m happy with it! I DIY my own highlights so I’m all over the place between level 6-9 lol I might mix 7A and 9NA next time for a level 8 ash. Lastly, If you’re a medium to light blonde, I’d go straight to 9NA or higher. This 7 ash might be too dark for your liking.

Love the result
Great gray coverage and after watching a ton of TikTok videos I knew how to expect the color to turn out. I love it. Great formula, the scent is pleasant, it was easy to apply and has even coverage.

Not every color gets darker some actually turn lighter then the box
Don't do what I did and buy this because everyone's saying the colors come out so dark. I wanted a nice Medium ash brown but not realizing my roots are the newest hair Only bleached once for idk maybe atleast a year so I tried doing a root smudge since apparently the color comes out so much darker 🙄 and yeah they came out lighter then the box shows so now I'm a dirty golden blonde 🤦. If you haven't bleached your roots but maybe once like me and want that ashy brown color then definitely first wash your hair so all the residue is gone and pigment can pull through instead of sitting on top of product. Then your probably going to want to go with a 6N to have the best of both cancelling pigment worlds but you can only use a 10 volume developer with a demi so if you don't want to deal with rinsing out fast then I'd probably reccommend just going with the permanent since you can use 20 volume with that which slightly opens the hair cuticle instead of just coating it like a demi does. It's just less stress imo. I went with a 6N in permanent and now I have the perfectly balanced roots but now I just need to tone my ends more so take my advice if you don't want Honey blonde roots because even at a 7A it didn't pull out any golden but that's because it won't since it only deposits and doesn't lift or pull anything out . Color charm is pretty good but if you don't know much about color then I hope this helps. This is my hair or roots after using the 7a which I guess looks good here but everything does after makeup and in just a couple days it's now light golden blonde not what I hoped for to me that's just a waste of time and money 🫠

Great hair dye
I used the Wella Color Charm Demi Permanent 7A to tone down brassiness and blend some greys, and overall I’m really happy with the result. The color came out a cool, smoky ash blonde/light brown instead of overly warm or orange, which is exactly what I wanted. It gave my hair a nice shine and made it feel softer compared to permanent color. I also liked that it didn’t have the super harsh smell that a lot of box dyes have. The color looked natural and blended well instead of looking flat or too dark. A few things to know: if your hair is very warm/orange underneath, you may still need blue shampoo or a darker ash shade because ash tones can fade after a few weeks. It also doesn’t completely cover stubborn greys, but it softened them enough that they blended naturally. Overall, this is a great affordable option if you want a cooler-toned refresh without the damage of permanent dye.

Very dark and too much red undertone
Left Before. Right - after on the photo. Mix 7A and 9MB. 1:1 ratio. 10% developer I give 3 stars only for the fact its demi permanent. Very unpredictable color. Goes at least 2 levels darker. Plus 6N, 7N have very strong red undertone. Which i wouldn't expect from neutral brown. On the photo I used mix of 7A and 9 MB. Proportion 1:1. And it still very dark. If I would go level 7 it would be level 5 dark. I use this brand for about an year and see that it has lots of room for approvment.

Quick and Easy - Gentle
Pleased with the results every time. I use the 7A with the 10 developer on very fine, unprocessed hair to cover light graying and to give my hair body. It takes 25 minutes to mix, apply, and leave on for 20 minutes. The color is darker than the color sample after application but tones down after a washing or two. Always test a color or product before applying to your entire head. What works great on one person’s hair does not always work on someone else’s. There are no absolute guarantees. I have tried several colors, all in the medium to dark blonde range, to get a dark blonde or very light brown results. With just the toner and no ammonia, Wella Demi-permanent is much gentler on fine hair.

Exactly what I was looking for – a light brown, not a blonde!
I bought the Wella Color Charm in 6N after reading the reviews saying it wasn’t really blonde, but more of a light brown — and that’s exactly what I was looking for! I didn’t want a blonde, but a soft, natural light brown, and this product delivered perfectly. The color is gentle, not too dark, very natural, and it covered my white hairs well. The application was easy, the smell wasn’t too strong, and my hair felt soft and looked shiny after coloring. I’m really happy with the result. If you’re looking for a light brown and don’t want something too blonde, this is a great choice!

Gloss and shine
Adds lustre to the hair, perfect for that gloss if you need and fills the hair pigment making it softer

A bit darker than you might think
The color is nice, definitely more brown. Does not cover greys, but does blend them. Easy to use with the 10 developer
