UPDATE: I had used a similar cushion to the one I ordered my wife, but it was not as thick as my wife's cushion. Thus, I ordered a cushion similar to hers. I cannot believe the difference that this cushion made over the one I was previously using. This one is thicker, wider, and much more comfortable than the one I was using. It stays primarily on the recumbent bike where I exercise about 2 hours per day. This has made a positive difference in how my back and rear end feel after riding. I recommend this and would definitely order again. I had purchased a similar cushion several months ago and use it every day when I am riding my stationary recumbent bike. When my spouse started to develop some painful back issues. I suggested she try my cushion. And she loved the results. It lowered the pain in her lower back and was certainly comfortable. I immediately ordered this cushion, and when it arrived she had the choice of using mine or the newer one. The new cushion is an XL and is larger and a little thicker than the one I've used for several months. The cushion has a memory form gel interior and a nice cloth exterior. She has used it for several days, and thoroughly likes the feel and pain relief from this product. I also used it and it felt just as good or better than the similar product I have used. BOTTOM LINE: I like (my wife loves) this cushion. It does provide short-term pain relief for her back issues and is comfortable when used with an office chair or recumbent bike. I would definitely order this product again.

I work at home, so 8 hours of my day is spent on my chair behind my computer. I needed some relief since my once comfy office chair seat does tends to get uncomfortable after a while. I read reviews of other gel seats, but this one caught my eye because of its size....it fills my entire seat! Once I placed it on my seat and sat down, I felt a sigh of relief. I had to lower my chair a tad since it added about 1.5" height to my normal adjustment. With a few clicks of my adjust bar, I began to work and felt such relief...then the cooling effect started after 5 mins, which was most welcome! :) What I have learnt while shopping on Amazon is that highest-rated, cheapest, recommended product is NOT always the one to go with. An extra 3-5 mins of reading other reviews of other such products that are priced $5.00 - $15.00 more that the cheapest goes a LONG way. I highly recommend this one for those long hours sitting in front of the computer. You will be happy with this purchase! :)

Supportive yet giving. Would prefer the cut out extend back and widen a bit. I had my surgery on my behind and sitting was difficult. I used some 3 inch bed foam and that didn't allow for ventilation to the area. Unfortunately these companies pray on the impaired and infirm charging so much as a person has to decide between comfort or food and medicine because of the limited income of Medicare. Because I was sweating, our air conditioning went out, I sat ice on the cushion and a towel and enjoyed watching TV. It's shaped well,except for the above, I've used it a couple weeks for approximately 8 hours a day and it shows no sign of failure. Even with air conditioning the seat retains alot of heat. Heat and moisture are breeding grounds and for bacterial growth especially in a recent incision with sutures area. If this sounds a little disorganized it's 3:30am. I believe it is a good cushion for even those of us who are morbidly obese.

I previously received a Aylio brand seat cushion as a gift and recently purchased two different brands, Orthopedic Seat Cushion and Comfilife. 1: brand Orthopedic seat cushion is my favorite. I believe that this is the best one out of the three seat cushions. The cushion is a very good size, has a mesh cover, carry handle on side, good quality memory foam and cool gel pad. it's much larger than the other ones, finally I found a cushion that fits great on my office chair and in the car. It has anti skid rubber bottom and it does not slide on the seat. The cushion is very comfortable and has the prefect amount of thickness. It's helping me a lot to ease my back pain. I'm very happy with this cushion and would recommend to others. 2: Brand Comfilife was an okay seat cushion, the cushion was made out of memory foam, cool gel pad, carry handle on side and has a rubber anti-skid bottom. however it still was too small and very firm, it wasn't comfortable to seat on. 3: Brand Aylio is a cheap made seat cushion and I did not like it at all, first of all it was not memory foam it was a sponge, the size was small and did not have a Anti-slip fabric on the bottom, and was not comfortable at all, overall it was poor quality. Here are the images of the 3 cushions so that you can see the differences.

First, let me say that the size is great. And, I would venture a guess that those who would need this larger size would also have need of a weight capacity above your average adult. I weigh about 250 pounds and all but completely flattened this cushion. After about 3 hours of use the pain was so great that I knew this must be returned and my search continues. If you are reading this and know of a product of similar or greater size with good support, please, PLEASE, write a comment and direct me to it. Thank you so much. REVISION: After seeing my post, Lucy K from AceRate contacted me regarding a higher density cushion sample that they had. Let me tell you, it is so much better! I sincerely hope they make this higher density cushion available for sale. It truly is much superior to the lower density version. As I previously stated, it is a matter of weight capacity, and none of the vendors state that for these cushions. Thickness is only part of the issue. So, kudos to Lucy K and AceRate for excellent customer support. They were kind enough to ship the sample cushion to me at no cost. For this I am grateful. To AceRate: It is difficult to wade through the myriad of coccyx cushions available on Amazon. If you do make this higher density version available for sale, please let me know. I have use for more of them.

A wonderful seat cushion that really takes the pressure off of the base of my tailbone. I have one in my office chair and also one in the recliner. This cushion enables me to sit without my spine bothering me. It is amazing that the tailbone rest in the opening thus relieving all pressure on the spine. Without this I would not be able to sit for longer periods of time. This has been a life saver and I recommend this for anyone who has a problem with their tailbone. I have had low back problems for years and have used similar cushions. However, this one is one of the best I have used. The memory foam is wonderful and the cushion does not go flat like some I have used in the past. It is very comfortable and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend this product.

I'm 5'6 and 140 lbs and recommend this XL size. I recently had a bad fall that did a number on my tail bone. My doctor recommended a doughnut cushion to help ease the pain. I found this product after looking at the reviews and pics of many others, and decided to purchase it on the following: - No mold complaints (I did not find any mold / smell on the foam) - REAL memory foam - I've used products that claim to use real memory foam and have a tempurpedic bed, so I know what real memory foam is like - this is a nice medium firm type where you will sink into it a bit and it is still soft but won't be completely flattened - Seat size - was afraid XL might be too big but it happens to be the right size for me - Comfort - It's comfortable to sit on and there is a sight cooling effect (which the product card mentions) Absolutely recommend!
