Very nice!
These battle droids are high quality! In the photos it doesn't show the weapons, but there was a weapon for each one. (The general grievouses have four lightsabers each!) The instructions are a bit small, and hard to read. Quality: =Lego!

Amazing affordable option
A cheaper option that works for army building. Although the material is a bit weak and can break, the figures stand well on their own or in position, and for the price, it's very interesting.

Quality construction, no missing pieces, SBD's are discolored
Overall, this is a fantastic set if you're looking for some droids to add to your collection. Attached are pictures of everything included as well as some officially licensed B1 and B2 (Super Battle Droid) droids for comparison. The B1 droids have no visual distinctions that I can see, in fact I think they may actually have LESS manufacturing defects than the one I received in an official set. I have even taken parts from the official B1 and put them onto the ones from this set and can tell no difference in movement, so they got the manufacturing tolerances correct. The B2 droids are the wrong color entirely; they are solid black and very glossy. Additionally, they lack a small dot to the side of the face (very minor detail, easy to miss unless you're looking right at them, imo it isn't a big deal). That said, the manufacturer provides both the gun arm and the regular arm with each droid, so you can customize them however you prefer. This isn't mentioned in the description, so it was a very pleasant surprise.I do not have a licensed BX droid to compare to the one provided, however the construction is very well done and it appears to match the official ones pretty much exactly. The details on the face are consistent across all models as well.I also do not have an assassin droid for comparison, but it also works well. The only complaint I have is that the instructions are inaccurate to official ones I have seen online. They provide a square clip to serve as an attachment for the neck as well as a clamp which is not the standard design. They also provide the correct clip arm (pictured) however that piece is very loose when attached to the torso. This may have also been the case with the official ones as every experience I have ever had with this part is that it is a very loose-fitting piece, so take that with a grain of salt because the official design choice might just suck in general. The Grievous figures are also great. I have pictured the tan one because it photographed better in my lighting, but they are both exactly identical. The only complaint I have about this is that the provided lightsaber hilts were very difficult to get the rods into. If you get this, you will want to push it in as far as it will go, remove it, and then push it in again from the other side or you will risk snapping the saber blade. The ones for the tan were easier to get in than the white, so this might have just been a bad batch of handles. One thing that some people may find noteworthy is that the blasters provided to the B1 droids are not the gray color currently in circulation among official sets, they are the standard black that was used for several years during the original run. This is purely opinion, but I think the black ones are better because they actually match the source material, Lego's decision to change this was purely to spite secondhand retailers. Side-by-side, the gray ones look like the knockoffs IMO.Finally, a note for just the retailer. I bought this set pretty much exclusively for the B1 figures. If you were to sell sets with only the Pilot/Commander/Security B1's, I probably would have bought multiple and based on conversations I've had with other hobbyists this is the case with many other people looking to build up their collection. Perhaps something to consider moving forward, there is definitely an untapped market of people who want to buy just the B1 figures. I don't need 6 grievous figures, but I would absolutely buy a 12 pack of security droids.

Better than expected
I read the reviews and was a little nervous but these turned out to be perfect for my son. If you're trying to build a collection then these are not the ones. But I bought these for my son to have big battles with his legos so he doesn't need them to be exact replicas. They come in separate bags for each type of droid and you just piece them together. It took me an hour to build them all for him (but I was also watching TV and taking my time). Turned out to be a great present and he loves playing with them combined with his Lego sets. These are NOT legos, but they work with Lego pieces which is all my son really needed. The only thing my son didn't like is that the general grievous comes with four arms but only two of them are really useful. The other two just kind of attach to the other arms and it just looks a little weird.Overall these are "real" legos but they are perfect for playing.

IG11 TYPE DROIDS NOT INCLUDED!
We received all droids with the exception of the 2 IG-11 type droids shown in the photo. My son is very disappointed as the main reason for spending this $30 was specifically for those droids.
