Couldn't say don't own this one. I've reviewed several swords I bought from this manufacturer though, and have had nothing but very positive experiences with them and their products. There must be a glitch in the review system. I can say however the katana I bought from them does have a real leather wrap, and the sword itself is superb for the price.
