A new lease on life for my old Windows Phone :)
I'm giving it 5 stars because the battery works like a charm. My old one was acting like it would immediately lose charge and practically needed to be plugged in constantly. Now it's running like new. For the Alcatel Idol 4s, none of the tools were helpful. The spudgers were too thick, or too weak a plastic to properly pry the case, so I ended up using a small screwdriver to carefully lift the case (which is only glued together with double sided foam tape, surprisingly). I was able to be delicate enough that I was able to re-use the existing tape, but if I hadn't, the kit did come with tape. The battery itself is also taped in place so I had to pry the old one out, but the connection itself simply snaps in place. Inserting and connecting the battery was the quickest and easiest part of the process. I'm not docking a star for not using the tools, since I'm sure there are other models that might need them, and hey, free tools. Battery basically looked the same as the old one, except it didn't say "alcatel one touch" on it. I didn't get any pictures as it would've been quite some trick to photograph a dismantled phone with itself, but the photo on the listing is accurate.

The battery worked just fine. I got my old iPhone battery replaced for a good price.
