Moozica 17-Key EQ Kalimba, Koa Tone Wood Electric Finger Thumb Piano Built-in Pickup With 6.35mm Audio Interface and Professional Kalimba Bag

I got this as a present for my partner. We had already tried the non-EQ version of this brand and sound was quite nice, so I decided to get him the built-in pickup one. The connection with the amp works fine. Sound is nice connecting it to the amp or just playing it by itself. However, when connecting to an amp the sound of the finger tapping the metal bars when you play leaks also to the amp (which having a micro inside the kalimba, is something to be expected). The sound still comes out nice, but it has that additional component that without plugging is not that noticeable. Summary: - Pros: nice sound with/without connection to amplifier. Nice design also. - Cons: Sound of finger tapping the metal leaks a bit into the amp when connected.

The sound of Kalimba is amazing, the instrument is fine crafted and it comes with very useful accessories, especially the bag. Looking forward to discover the mysteries of this instrument :)

Sounds good. DO NOT press as lightly as it seems. It would be difficult for an autistic child to press the keys. A healthy man presses. Sounds good. I paid more to have plugs to connect to the speaker. Unfortunately, the plugs do not enter the speaker because they are very thick (plastic part) and prevent the plug from being connected. For the wrong plugs, I give fewer stars.

I ordered the kalimba as a gift, and it was much-much appreciated. The sound is beautiful and so is the instrument itself. Comes with a nice case and some other extras, like multiple pickups which are handy. It is easy to use and to learn and has a wonderful sound. Before I return this kalimba which I received today I thought that I would give the seller time to respond. Whilst it’s is a lovely looking and sounding instrument the EQ system does not work despite trying it on 2 different amplifiers. I find it frustrating that goods are not checked before posting to a customer, it would save time, money and considerable disappointment if faulty goods were caught before sending them out.

We bought this for our son, who loves it! Quality product that is a joy to play.

This is my second kalimba. Lovely tone, easy to learn and works well even without an amp. I only really need that for outdoors. No stiff or dead tines, would recommend 100%. Someone reviewed one and said there was no cable but mine came with one. If you are looking for a first kalimba or an upgrade, don't hesitate.

Muy buen regalo. Sonido muy relajante y que venga con pastillas para ampli o grabar el sonido es genial. Complementos muy buenos sobretodo la caja/funda. La madera es preciosa. Lo compré para mi hermano que es músico, estoy pensando en comprar una para mi y aprender. Es un hábito relajante y divertido

Wouahhh... trop bien comme disent les jeunes ! Tout est superlatif, tout y est et dans la meilleure qualité de fabrication. Rapport qualité prix imbattable je pense. Accessoires, livret, housses, rien ne manque, même les outils et stickers utiles sont présents. Et le son... envoûtant??? On resterait des heures, paisible à écouter ce que nos doigts et cet instrument peuvent créer. Sons cristallins, puissance et en même temps, possibilité de murmurer des mélopées venues d'ailleurs... On devient créatif en se laissant aller ! On aimerait le garder tout le temps avec soi pour profiter de chaque seconde de liberté à se faire plaisir en écoutant les murmures de ce nouveau compagnon, fidèle et toujours prêt. Du rêve devenu réalité. Grand merci aux personnes qui réalisent de tels instruments, pour un prix aussi modique... N'hésitez pas, foncez !!!

Strumento fantastico! Ha un suono bellissimo che la cassa armonica in acacia koa valorizza ancora di più. Collegandolo ad un amplificatore e applicandogli un po di riverbero o di delay diviene eccezionale. Già arriva accordato, quindi pronto all'uso. Questa kalimba è costruita veramente bene ed è pure bella da vedere. Ottima la custodia rigida ma pure gli altri accessori. L'unica "nota stonata" è la dimensione dei proteggi pollici in silicone che sono troppo piccoli anche se di misura L; forse sarebbe stato meglio mettere la misura XL. Sono ovviamente più che soddisfatto di questo acquisto.

Très bonne résonance dans les graves et les médiums. Les 5 notes les plus aiguës ne sont malheureusement pas très fortes en acoustique. Mais une fois sonorisé l'équilibre est bien mieux ! Le micro est correct. L'effet de wah-wah ne marche que pour les notes médiums. Très pratique de voir les numéros et notes sur les touches quand on débute, ça fait gagner un grand temps de repérage pour jongler entre les tonalités. Etui de bonne qualité avec un emplacement pour le marteau (très serré mais ça passe quand même). Quelques notes légèrement désaccordées à la livraison, mais sinon ne se désaccorde presque pas au fil des semaines d'utilisation. Les accessoires livrés avec sont plus où moins utiles selon les utilisations (Livret guide avec partitions en anglais, marteau pour accorder, protège-doigts (que je trouve inconfortables et plutôt inutile, il faut des doigts fins pour les enfiler !), autocollants rouges et verts, étiquette avec les notes et correspondances sur le clavier (inutile vu que tout est déjà écrit sur les lames), chaine métallique pour faire de vibrato, chiffon microfibre, pochette en tissu souple). Esthétique en bois classique, assez bonne ergonomie avec les arrondis sur les arrêtes. En conclusion je ne regrette pas mon achat, c'est un très bon rapport qualité-prix pour un joueur débutant qui a déjà quelques bases en musique, et qui pour ma part envisage d'en jouer en public (grâce au micro intégré).
