You should never use an abrasive on your ceramic/glass cooktop according to the owner’s manual and this contains quartz it is not safe for them.

Is this the same stuff that costs £1 in Britain? If so, why is it $13 here?

Even though you think you get everything shipped "for free", that it's not built into the cost of the item, I'm sure you are aware of international shipping costs. A 1 pound package from London to New York is over $100 on the cheap side. Import/export duty/customs fees and storage costs are added. You have no business for long if you cannot charge the cost of doing business. ---> And for the dollar store fans, one of the cleaners has bacteria recall on their website.

Would this work on greasy hand prints on doors?

Absolutely! My husband is a mechanic and this stuff takes grease right off no problem. I tried magic eraser and other products didn't get as good of results so now I keep a of this on hand for nasty doors
