Pleasantly surprised how nice this pool skimmer is! Very heavy duty material. Won’t be ripping as fast as my old one.

Seemed well made until the black plastic part detached from the aluminum section. I'll reattach it and see how it goes. Black plastic clamps by two screws to the aluminum. Hopefully it continues holding as I prefer not to have a fabrication project just to skim the pool.Update: later that same day, black plastic clamp will not grip aluminum. Drilled a hole through plastic and aluminum and inserted a stainless steel cotter pin. Happily back to pool skimming

Design looks good and like what I am looking for. Build quality is quite nice. I like the thin front lip which would allow me to get under the leaves on bottom of pool. the only reservation would be the part which is inserted into the pole seems to be made of hard plastic can hold up after at least a year of usage…time will tell and I will re-rate it to 5* if that holds up.

Three months old and the metal part holding the red circle comes out of the black handle. Surprising as our pool technician comes once a week, doesn't use our pool skimmer net so we didn't use our net that much.Disappointed.

The unit is sturdy and looks like it will last. However, the net is very stiff so that you can't just turn it over, give a shake or two and the net falls through and the contents fall out. Because of the stiffness you have to hand force it through the opening which is the only way to clear all the debris out of a net like this. There are better choices that are cheaper.

Too late to return, purchased just over a month ago -- But People beware... Once the skimmer has a bit of leafs it slides out of the attachment, leaving the skimming net at the bottom of the pool. It's happened to me twice now and now I will have to buy another brand. Other than that ,, it originally seemed sturdy- but that doesn't matter if it slips out from the handle
