Arrived early and in great shape
Shout! Factory did a great restoration and packed this Blu ray with tons of special features. This is a long way from my childhood when I watched it on VHS. My son will enjoy this movie. 30 years old and it aged very well.

Brought back childhood memories
I used to love watching this movie when I was a kid so when I came across this I immediately bought it and watched it over and over. I love that Robin Williams played the voice of Batty. He was so funny and couldn't stop laughing.

Nostalgic trip
Watched this with family for the first time since seeing it in theater 30 years ago to the month. GREAT movie with great message. Now having refreshed my memory with it, I'm struck by how much the movie "Avatar" ripped this off, especially the sequences of visiting the forest and the objects and plants that light up, AND Cameron ripped off the whole color scheme of the interior world AND the tree holding all the knowledge and power of the culture.I was a bit surprised that it held the interest of the young ones. I remember now the fact that the whole second act is meandering without a clear objective. The stakes raised in the first part of the movie do not come back with any urgency until the end and then all of a sudden, there's danger. BUT, the visual texture of the movie overcomes this. The strength of creating a beautiful world that only 2D animation ca. The movie has a beautiful tone that carries the movie throughout. Love the characters, love the animation, its heart is in the right place. A great product of its time that is proving to be timeless.

A 1990s Classic!
Bill Kroyer’s 1992 film, “FernGully: The Last Rainforest,” adapts the book of the same name by Diana Young with a screenplay by Jim Cox. The film takes place in an Australian rainforest where a fairy named Crysta (Samantha Mathis) accidentally shrinks a logger named Zak (Jonathan Ward) to fairy-size. Zak learns about the interconnectedness of life in the rainforest and how fragile it is, which leads him to aid the fairies and Batty Koda (Robin Williams) in defending their home against the loggers and Hexxus (Tim Curry), an evil entity made of pollution. The animation is gorgeous and the voice actors give brilliant performances. “FernGully” will instantly resonate with anyone who grew up in the 1990s, while its environmentalist message continues to hold power three decades later. The film thematically connects with other works from the late 1980s and early 1990s, including “Nausicaä and the Valley of the Wind,” “Captain Planet and the Planeteers,” “Once Upon a Forest,” “Medicine Man,” “Pom Poko,” “Pocahontas,” “Instinct,” and more. A great addition to anyone’s home movie collection, particularly those with some nostalgia for the 1990s.

Great movie!!!
I love this movie I was amazed as a child and it was amazing as an adult. My only problem with this movie was the cover art on the disc made me feel like it was a fake movie disc. especially when I put it in to play the cover art on the main screen look super weird but I was determined to watch the movie I was just hoping it didn't look like the cover art. Thank God it did not it was the original movie just the way I remember it from when I was a child. No problems with the disc so I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend this seller to anyone. Unless you are a stickler for the artwork then don't get it but if you don't care and want to watch an amazing movie then buy this movie from this seller.
