Very detailed and cute book
I recently picked up a crochet book that I really enjoyed, and it's been such a great addition to my collection! The patterns are creative and well-illustrated, making it easy to follow along. I did modify the patterns a little bit here and there to suit my personal style, but that's the beauty of crochet – it's so adaptable! The patterns for doll clothes are really nice and cute, which has been a delightful bonus. The book has inspired me to try new techniques and create unique pieces. If you're into crochet and looking for fresh ideas, I highly recommend giving this book a try. It's definitely worth it! but definitely not for beginners!!!

Amazing book! Must buy for anyone interested in making crochet dolls.
This book is well written, well organized and super adorable and inclusive.Crochet dolls have their own skill sets needed so that they come out nice. I've been crocheting for over 15 years and I've made a bit of everything in that time. Amigurumi took practice and research for me to get the stitching tight enough. Then I made a few dolls and that has taken some extra practice and research when it comes to things like making sure the neck stays up and the head won't fall all over the place being weighed down by the hair. Also the hair! So many designs give you just one option for hair or say something vague like, "attach hair in the style you want." This book is not like that. This book is so amazing, it gives clear instructions. I saw all the hair variations on the front cover and was so pleasantly surprised that she gives simple and clear instructions for attaching the hair! She has you crochet a wig cap that has stitches that are done in the front or back loop only so that you can see where your hair strands need to go. Then she gives instructions on how to make a variety of hair strands (wavy, curly and straight). I've so excited about that specifically. Then, in addition to the hair, the instructions for the basic doll is very well done as well. There are also instructions if you want to make a doll with a missing limb, or add a scar, etc. In addition to that the book has a bunch of outfit choices for you to make for your new doll. In addition to that if you want your doll to have a wheelchair, prosthetic arm or leg, crutches even... it is all in here. It's all very well organized so it will be easy to find what you need as well.I do have a good amount of crochet books (and patterns) and even a good amount of ones specifically for making crochet dolls... this is the best one I have seen. I can already tell this is one I will use a lot. It is a dream where creativity is concerned. I highly recommend this book. I do think you should have some crochet experience/skills. That is because crochet dolls in general are not beginner friendly. I'm sure there are people out there who have a knack for it and could make a doll while learning to crochet, but I don't believe that is most of us. If you're fairly confident in your skill level and have made similar things you should be fine with this book. If you have trouble, you can always search a bit on the internet for some help.

So Freaking Funnnnnn!!!
Such an amazing book. So well written. This was just sooooo fun to crochet. It worked up way quicker than I had anticipated. I loved that they have a big toe, calf definition, Knee caps, a little rump, arm definition, cheeks...etc just such a cute and easy pattern. I was nervous about the hair I had never crocheted hair before (usually do blankets and animals) but it's actually very easy just tedious but so worth it! So cute! I made this doll for my mother in law for her bday in her image. Doll stands exactly 18" using following products:Red heart super saver yarn in the color Buff.3.5mm hook18mm eyesBlack embroidery thread for lashes and browsI did not create a wire frame for her inside. Red Heart yarn is very sturdy so I just stuffed her and concentrated on stiff stuffing in the neck to stabilize it. Worked out so amazing I'm so proud of myself and I can't wait to make more. Love this book so much. Thank you for making it for us!

I would give this book of patterns a 20 star rating if I could. This is a beautiful book full of great patterns. This book is absolutely amazing if you need or want to make a doll for a physically disabled, sick, or mentally challenged child. These dolls that children with health challenges can have that looks like them will be a blessing to any child that receives one.

Love this book
It’s so unique. Every page makes it even more exciting to start making little unique dolls. The patterns are written so well that I am sure a beginning would know how to crochet these dolls. So many pictures as well. I love it

Awesome book!!
I love all the variations of limbs and the clothing and accessories. I wish there was a pattern for a chunky body, not all kids or adults are thin!!
