Great Greek Olives!
Best olives for the best price hands down! When you buy them with the pits in, they last twice as long! Great product and taste!

Best tasting Kalamata Olives on Amazon
Best tasting Kalamata Olives on Amazon. Tried the others and these are the best on price, flavor and quality. The others have too many spices/flavors added. After buying several dozen containers over the past several years, these are consistent in flavor, size and fresh.

Real Greek "Kalamata" olives, with pits - as they should be!
As a Greek expat I am partial to food from my homeland Greece. The Krinos "whole Kalamata olives" exceeded my expectations from a popular variety (Kalamon olives) from Greece. Keep in mind the following when ordering: 1. Olives are whole, with pits - as they should be! Eat one at a time, slicing them with your teeth and enjoy the aroma, slight crunchiness, and salty taste combined with a touch of vinegar. Gently spit out the pit into a fork, or your curled fist and place it on your plate; it's socially acceptable. 2. The olives arrive in a container that is sealed with a sophisticated seal. To open it, turn the twisty counter-clockwise. Open the cap, then remove and discard a white net floater that keeps the olives submerged. It's no longer necessary post transportation. Take some olives out, preferably with a spoon that has holes to drain the water out. 3. The olives are preserved in water that contains salt and vinegar. Once opened, the mix will deteriorate their freshness. Personally, I drain all the water out via a net, then I place them back into the same container. You can also refrigerate them dry or split in smaller containers if you want. I do not rinse the olives with water, this way the original, intended flavor is preserved. 4. Olives are good for you but keep in mind there is salt in them that adds up. Eat responsibly, if your BP is affected by salty food! PS Pitted (without pits) olives lose their freshness, essential oils, and are not safer to eat. When one EXPECTS a pit every time, random encounters with pits inside pitted olives will no longer become a nasty surprise for your teeth.

The Plastic Tub Sux and Way Way Way Too Salty
When you open the plastic tub there is some kind of plastic sifter that seems to be impossible to remove. The olives are trapped underneath and there seems to be no way to help them escape. I'm sure the olives are of decent quality but the frustration level has me considering dumping the whole thing and letting the wild pigs figure it out. EDIT: 20 minutes later I got the "sifter" out after spraying myself and my kitchen with brine. The olives are not edible due to the amount of salt in the brine. I ate four of them ten minutes ago and can still feel the salt overdose in my mouth.

Amazing Flavor & Texture
My Greek husband knows his olives!! They are amazing. The flavor bursts with the first bite and you only want more and then some more. Give them a try; you will be glad you did!!

Jumbo Please
Delicious & tender. I gave 4 stars because the olives are not Jumbo as advertised. They’re small. You need better filtering to deliveries the size requested. Also, there needs to be a pitted, Jumbo version.

Economical way to buy olives
Olives are a little on the salty side. Great to use on salads. Lot of olives for the money. Much cheaper than small jars.

These are SOOOO Good!
These are SOOO good! I don't mind the saltiness, but they could always be rinsed if you do. I had a hard tie paying that much for olives, but if you compare it to the price of a small jar at the grocery store, you will realize that this is a great deal. I keep the giant container in the fridge and put small amounts in a container for ease of use. The fat from the olives does collect on top, but that is to be expected. I felt a bit hesitant when I got my first container, since the "jar" has no plastic or any kind of seal, but they have been just fine so maybe I am just a bit paranoid. I use them mostly on salads and pasta but YUM, you can use them on many things.
