I like the Madison Reed brand. I've been using their Medium Chocolate Brown for years. It's gentle on my hair and skin, and the dye color has been consistent throughout. Gray coverage is very good, but not perfect. Two weeks after coloring, a little silver begins to show through, though not enough to make me want to switch brands.

I love this I got it when I had a gift card and it was so amazing. The whole kit that it comes with is so nice so professional looking and the quality after was so incredible my hair felt and looked so beautiful. I wish it was a little cheaper but it is much cheaper than going to get your hair done. This is the second box I have an upcoming trip. It really binds to your gray hair also. It came with these cool little pads to wipe any excess color off its a great set honestly

So this color is by FAR the best brown I have used. I have naturally brown with auburn hue so I always pull gold or red. This color does not do that, it gives me that true chocolate brown. So for that I am in love with it. But honestly it lasts about 2 weeks before your gray starts showing through. For the price that is a drag!!! But because of the color and not pulling red or gold. I order it over and over again. It is very easy to use and the smell does not make you gasp for fresh air. You really don't notice it. So that is a plus too, also they do not test on sweet animals. Thank you for that madison reed!! For all the positive reasons stated I will keep ordering, It just sucks its a 2 week thing.

I love this brand of hair coloring and it didn’t disappoint as I went back to my natural color and it covered the gray so well. The outcome was perfection!

The shade I chose was supposed to be medium reddish brown and my hair is almost dark brown with slight red highlights. I give it 4 stars because my hair is glossy and soft and the color is nice and rich. Overall I’m happy despite not quite getting what I wanted. Update: this stuff is glorified drugstore hair dye. It faded within 3 weeks. Which is exactly what happens with cheap dye. Save your money!

Really liked this product at first but after using it over the course of a year (once every 3 months), it destroyed the structure of my hair to the point where I had to cut almost a foot off and keep have hair forming “dots” and breaking off mid-length from the internal damage. Never had this problem with the $5 drug store brands I had used for 20 years previously. Really bummed about this because the color is beautiful. It’s the only company I have been able to find all these years with a match to my natural color -medium auburn brown- without looking fake and unnaturally red.
