Great Charger
The charger seems to work exactly as advertised. It maintains battery voltage and desulfates as it charges. The unit performs periodic tests as well, insuring the battery is in good shape.

Perfect battery reminder for a Comanche
This was priced accordingly and works as advertised. Aviation batteries are expensive To replace. I’m glad I bought it.

I should have bought this years ago!
We have used concord batteries in our Airplane for as long as I can remember. We replaced a battery 5 years ago and always tried to fly it regularly. The battery got low during a pitot/static check and I had to jump start the plane. It took a charge again but it was obvious it was showing its age. New battery = $500 and the charger was under $200. I figured it was worth a shot. After letting it do its thing for 24 hours, the battery is in like new condition. I don't remember the last time the starter spun it over this well! I wish I had bought this years ago!!!

High Quality
I have some of the automotive battery minders but this is my first dedicated aviation model. I ordered my last two from Aircraft Spruce so I figured they would be the aviation models. I was wrong they are for standard lead acid batteries and automotive use. This one is much nicer and both of my airplanes use the Concorde sealed batteries so this charger/desulfator will work on each. It was more expensive, generally as aviation products are. The automotive units were less than $100 and this one was about $300.So far it works great. Charged the battery then switched to desulfate maintenance mode. I am thinking about getting another so I can have one on each plane.

saves money and aggravation
This is hooked up to the external power port in my Bellanca, and has completely eliminated the scourge of dead batteries. Given that aircraft batteries are anything but cheap, this saves a lot of money and time waiting for a boost.

Works as advertised
Unit is pretty much automated on all tests. Pretty much plug and play.I have 2 batteries - the prior i replaced 3 years ago, as well as the current battery in the plane, and will see if this can bring life back into them both. Not expecting much on the old one but who knows? Seeing voltage improvement after only a few days of desulphating, need to do up to 2 weeks it states in order to see best results. If this saves me buying a new battery it will be well worth the cost!
