Worked Just as Described!
I am a mid-handicapper with a mild slice (not a banana) that on average is about 20-25 yards off center with an average tee shot total distance of about 230yds (95mph driver swing speed). My slice is consistent, but controllable for the most part. I bought the US Extra Spin and here is what I found through 27 holes with the balls...OFF THE TEE (using the directional arrows correctly)1. Out of the 27 holes, 21 shots were with a driver, of those 21 driver shots, 18 went absolutely straight with nice loft for an average of 220 yards (so I only lost about 10 yards total distance but was in the fairway with a great approach shot). The other 3 driver shots sliced off center about 20-25 yards, but still in play. On those 3 bad shots my swing felt more slicey and I knew as soon as I hit it that the ball would have ordinarily been a big slice of banana bread and been gone.2. For my non-driver tee shots it was a mix of high irons and hybrids. All of those shots went dead straight. I also found that with my higher irons (7-9) I was picking up an EXTRA 10-15 yards off the tee.FROM THE FAIRWAY/ROUGH (NOT re-aligning the ball)1. I did NOT realign the arrows for my non-tee shots, I played them as they lie. I found no difference at all from any of my other shots. Ball felt good and had a consistent flight pattern as any other ball, although, I will say that I don't typically slice other clubs so I can't say how it would correct a slice on subsequent shots if you don't re-align.CHIPPING/SPIN (NOT re-aligning the ball)1. I felt that the US Extra Spin got nice loft with all of my wedges and had nice spin.2. From greenside with a wedge, they grabbed the greens nicely, in fact they bit more than the Supersofts and Kirklands I was playing previously.PUTTING (NOT re-aligning the ball)1. Everybody has their own preference for ball feel on the green. I would say these feel more like my Kirklands than Supersofts, but they still had a nice feel when putting. No realignment was necessary, they played like regular balls.DURABILITY1. I played the same ball through about 22 holes and had no noticeable damage or change in performance. The only reason I had to grab a second ball to complete 27 holes was because I fatted one short off the fairway into a water hazard.Overall these balls have made my game MUCH more enjoyable and made me so much more confident and relaxed off the tee... so much so that I bought 2 more dozen.

It is still possible to hook or slice them but nowhere as bad as it it with standard balls
These balls are incredible. It is still possible to hook or slice them but nowhere as bad as it it with standard balls. 90% of shots are now almost arrow straight and it really helps you trust your judgment when choosing which club to use. The only downside to owning these balls is it’s heartbreaking when you lose one either in the rough or water because they’re not cheap!

Sure that this says more about my game.
Unfortunately these self correcting golf balls have not helped me, sure that this says more about my game than the balls themselves!

Straighten outs your shot, but does seem to cost distance
I purchased two boxes of these balls for a golf trip in the summer of 2014. I've played golf all my life and have always battled a mild slice (re: fade) with mixed-success. I read the reviews of this ball, and thought I'd give it a go. I played 72 holes over the past three days using this ball (among others), and believe I have sufficient experience now to write a review. I am bogey golfer - I don't break any records, but I am also not terrible. I am the typical weekend warrior golfer!*The Good*It works. Yep. Simple as that. I played with the same guys I've been playing with for years without telling them about my new ball. Right off the first tee box, I hit it and you could tell it had something going on in the air. It didn't fly like a normal ball. My shot took off a bit to the right, but then made a weird turn to the left, straitened out, and landed in the fairway. It was really cool, and I was shocked! I had to tell my buddies what the ball was, and soon, we were all trying out the Polara. Now, it doesn't fix a shank. If you don't hit it well (if you hit a skyball, or top the ball), it ain't gonna work. But, if you catch it full on and pop it up in the air decently, it absolutely works quite well. You can absolutely see the ball self correcting in the air on most shots. It's really cool to watch! It's important to note that higher degree drivers/woods and irons work the best. I normally play a 9.5 degree driver but I played an 11 degree driver and the difference in hang time seemed to make a world of difference. Hit it high! On the few shots I had that went low, the ball seemed to play more normally. It seems that it needs the hang time in the air for the dimply pattern to work appropriately.*The Bad*Distance. It does not fly as far. Yes, as many reviewers have mentioned, it gets an excellent bounce and role. But, it does not fly as far. It seems like some of the "self correction" dimple pattern does straighten the ball flight out, but it tends to drop down very quickly. This was also the general consensus in our four-some.Sound. It sounds like you are hitting a ball filled with concrete. Not a huge problem, but it does not sound like a normal ball. I suppose some folks may be bothered by that.Feel. I played the Polara off each tee box, but switched to a softer ball around the green. The Polara is a hard ball, and doesn't seem to play well around greens.*Overall*I will keep a box of these in my bag from now on. While I still prefer to play a "normal" ball, if I am making good contact but kicking the ball left or right, I will absolutely bull out a Polara.
