This iron is not the best out there, but for the price it's pretty good. The temperature dial is not very accurate, and ran hot by ~40°, so definitely be aware if you're working on electronics.

You didn't buy this for professional use and it's very likely you have something break that requires soldering and you bought this (or looking at this one) due to the price point, like we did. It worked and money well spent for the one time we needed it. It is now in the toolbox with the other one hit Amazon wonders. We bought a 75W solar security light that was bumped around during shipping and one of the wires broke loose from the battery. This tool was used to reattach it and no issues since. Works as designed.

This is basically a disposable item in my view. Use it once and toss it. The tips appear to be made of cheap pit metal and they immediately begin to oxidize when heated. The sign of bad metallurgy. If you need to do a quick repair, then you might get away with it, but don’t use the included solder. It is contaminated and will give you endless headaches if you use it for anything critical. The included accessories are a joke. The “stand” can barely stand on its own, let alone support a hot iron and the tiny sponge, while adorable, is useless. If this wasn’t a sub $10 kit, it would be one star. Whatever you do, don’t leave it plugged in for any amount of time.

solider was thin and i used to much heat but this was beginners fault

Heats up quick, tips hold heat well, and it's a package with everything you'd need. Good option
