They came well packaged, none were ripped open. There is a great range of color and each pack is labeled. You get a LOT of each color, way more than in the prepackaged tie dye kits. I will be using these on cotton fabric, using stencils instead of tie dyeing. As soon as I actually use some of the colors, I will come back and review how I like the colors and how well they hold up after first wash.One thing that would make this set perfect would be if the packets came in resealable zip bags so if you don't use the whole pack at once, you have somewhere to store the remainder

There aren't any kind of instructions or recommendations on the water to dye powder ratio so you need to experiment but it still seems to work pretty good and you get a lot.

A package busted and got color powder all over.

No instructions on how much water to add to the dye. Any help would be greatly appreciated

And what great colors they are. Each powder packet perfectly mixed up 8 ounces of dying liquid for colors that are vibrant and lasting.

I have purchased these in the past and they were ok but something must have changed. The tie dye colors were bright after setting overnight but when rinsed, immediately faded to nothingness. Do not recommend these powders any more

worth it for a beginner.
