I've been using this for quick a while and it's definitely exceeded my expectations. I never believed in a machine just to cook rice (too simple to make on the stove top or in the microwave) but the convenience of add rice and water and pressing the "on" button makes it definitely worth the investment. It's also a great value at a very low price compared to others.The control panel on the front has several options depending on what you are cooking. So far, the settings I've used have cooked perfectly every time. I've never had anything come out too soggy or too hard. It does take a long time to cook--usually around an hour for 2 cups of brown rice--but worth the wait.If you think a rice cooker is an unnecessary luxury, give this one a try--I think you'd change your mind!

Bought this for my husband’s birthday. It is the perfect size! No problems with the packaging when it arrived. The steamer tray is a very nice add-on and makes the product worth more for the money you pay. It serves a great quantity of portions for both white and brown rice. Great performance.

Bought a refurbed unit, that looks and works like new. Makes fantastic rice.

Making rice is super easy now. Put in the water and rice. Push the button and come back at the dig.They could make the ding a little louder, but you can please everyone anyway.

This Aroma Rice Cooker is my forth one and every one has been GREAT! I have put one each at my home and trailer and two smaller ones in each of my rental properties. They just work. In addition to rice, I've used the slow cooker to make a pot roast, chicken and noodles and soup. A very nicely designed kitchen tool that replaces several others. Its easy to use, non stick so it cleans easily and just the right size. Couldn't be happier.

I love this ricer. There is a learning curve for light fluffy rice. RINSE, RINSE and keep rinsing the rice until the water is largely clear. Then only add enough water to just cover the rice. Once you get that down, you will be so happy. I was also really excited that you can make oatmeal in it. I tried it once so far and need to tweak my water lever next time. In a steamer you just need less water. There is also a steamer basket so you can steam veggies at the same you rice. I have not tried that yet, so cannot comment on it.

I purchased this for the obvious, to cook rice and oatmeal. I did oatmeal in it and it came out perfect. Best oatmeal I've been able to make at home. Best part is, not hovering over the pot on the stove stirring etc. I did 1 cup oatmeal and 2.4 cups water. It was cooked in 28 min.Great purchase so far.

I was unsure about picking this up but my kids insisted I needed one (and they love rice). I'm now sorry I didn't agree earlier. This comes with a plastic steamer basket, coated inside pot, directions, and a measuring cup. It's super simple to use and the directions were easy to understand.The pot is large enough to make enough rice for two to three meals, and thanks to the measuring cup, it's simple to dump it in and just let it cook away without thought. It peeps once when done but holds the contents warm until turned off...which makes my life easier. And the rice and oatmeal always turn out great.The pot is easy to clean and doesn't have issues with sticking (of course, only plastic or wood should be used with it).As said, I enjoy using this device a lot and would buy it again, but I'm hoping this one holds for a long time.

Love this product. I didn’t like all the others that were white because they don’t match my other appliances. I’ve made tons of rice as well as steamed veggies and dumplings all cooked perfectly. But I use my own time not the one on the cooker

I have used this rice cooker many times…for oatmeal and brown rice, as well as green lentils. Easy to use and cleanup. Does a great job of cooking!

Funciona perfectamente, tarda 40 minutos en hacer el arroz, puede quedar como arroz para sushi o normal, depende de la cantidad de agua, tipo de arroz y tiempo de cocción. La cantidad de 2 tazas (son realmente 3/4 de taza) alcanza perfectamente para varias comidas. Sólo es necesario poner el arroz en el recipiente, llenar de agua hasta la marca (dependiendo de las tazas de arroz), encenderlo y poner que es arroz normal y con eso sonará en cuanto quede listo

Es muy facil de usar y limpiar, la consistencia es extraña pero creo que es simplemente encontrar las cantidades exactas para un mejor acabado.
