easy to assemble and take apart to clean and it opens them big 28 oz cans of tomatoes real nice. this old timer really likes the Hamilton Beach OpenStation Electric Automatic Can Opener.☮

JUNK. Purchased 8/10 and by 9/15/2024 the gear would no longer hold a can to open it.
I had issues with the can opener from day one, but I kept thinking, because it was different from my last one that maybe I wasn't putting the can in the gear correctly, so I had 3 other people try it. Outcome was the same. May return date has recently passed so I am unable to return it.

It works.
I was replacing an old one that gave up, this one works well enough. The biggest issue is when the can lid comes off the lid tilts towards your hand with that sharp edge and you will hit it more times than not.

Jar opener does not grip anything otherwise it works.
The jar opener does not work as good as the old version on this same opener. it does not grip it well.

Works really well
This can opener does everything it says it does. It is so multi-functional that I can't imagine life without it now. It is light weight but heavy enough to do the job. It's easy to clean & I love all the extras. Wonderful can opener! I'd been using a more expensive can opener with no extras & the motor died unexpectedly one day. I switched to this Hamilton Beach can opened & am sold on the product & will use Hamilton Beach for further purchases.

Les caoutchoucs pour ouvrir les pots est inutile si le pot sort du fridge , j’ai utilisé le bon vieilélastique ! J’aime bien l’avantage de l’ouvre-boite sans tenir le manchon ( main-libre ), alorss’il tient le coup (garantie) il vaut ses 4 étoiles...

This appliance is NOT 240 volts. It is shipped from the US at 110 volt
The product is fine with several very useful attachments for those of us suffering with arthritis in the hands --- HOWEVER!!!I am DISGUSTED that Amazon are listing an electrical appliance on Amazon .CO.UK which is NOT 240 volts.Nowhere in the description of the appliance does it state 110 volt. VERY POORAdditionally, within about 2 days of my buying, the price was dropped by some £4.00 !! GREAT FOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS.I WILL NOW NEED TO PURCHASE A 240-110 VOLT ADAPTER TO ENABLE ME TO USE THE PRODUCT.
