Great book for basic concepts of finance

Really good for quant role

Tried to read a lot of books but always come back to this one for quant finance if I need to learn a fresh topic. The contents would be a bit basic and some things may not be practiced in the industry anymore but the contents in the book helps you to get your speed up and understand the basics of that topic. You can always learn the advanced ones if you get the basics right.

This is a heavy book. Could have been a hardcover. The cover will go bad very quickly due to its weight. The paper and print quality could have been better. Expected more from Pearson.
