Good replacement for old loosened or cracked grommet on 2001 Tundra 4.7 on drivers side front valve cover. Be careful removing old one may crack and pieces may fall inside valve cover. Use some good needle nose pliers bend inward and pull out. May come out in pieces. Also using a headlamp for direct visualization is helpful and you can see if pieces fell in valve cover. Once new one is in it will fit valve cover and pcv valve perfectly. Do not think is worth money to buy Toyota brand grommet This is very inexpensive and worked fine. The pcv valve itself can just be cleaned with carburetor cleaner and reused. Unless you want to buy a new one - just because. The hose was starting to crack on both ends. Trimmed off 3/4 inch on each end but then was a little too short - still worked but decided to replace while was there and was now too short. 1/2 inch trim on each would have worked.

Got this Grommet along with PCV valve for 1999 Lexus RX300. Went ahead and ordered this grommet even though many reviews stated you could reuse the grommet. I'm glad I got this. After I removed the old PCV valve, realized that the grommet is extremely brittle. Fortunately I had "TEKTON 5873 Door Panel Remover" that I got from Amazon and using it made it relatively easy to get the old grommet out. I was able to put the new grommet very easily. PCV Valve used: Fram FV380 Positive Crankcase Ventilation PCV Valve If you are planning to replace PCV valve, go ahead and order the grommet as well. Perfect fit to replace hardened old one. Be careful not to let the old one fall into valve cover. I had to use a pick to fish the old one out

Fits a 2000 Toyota Camry with no issues, put a little motor oil on it helps fitting. I only had it installed for about 2 months, I’m not sure how long it will last. Build quality seems decent for the price.

I ordered this grommet for a '98 tacoma 4WD 3.4L V6 5VZ-FE. Despite seeing the other bad reviews, I figured I'd give it a try, assuming that the problems people were reporting were due to user error or just bad luck. However, as others have stated, these are terrible grommets. First of all, the inner diameter of these grommets is far too small when compared to the OEM grommet. So, you'll need to apply a lot of force in order to try to get the PCV valve into it. At this point, the grommet will most likely tear & break, as the rubber is brittle & of very cheap quality. I lubricated the grommet & tried my best to not overdo it when trying to install the PCV valve, but it still ended up tearing. I'm convinced that these grommets are either from very old stock that were stored improperly, or from a defective batch, and that they're being sold for cheap here on amazon in the hopes that most people won't go through the troubing of trying to return them based on the low price. It's either this, or Dorman has simply screwed up in their design and/or their 'application designation' for these grommets, because these clearly won't work for all of the Toyota models that they are claiming. I ended up returning this grommet & buying the OEM grommet directly from Toyota, which wasn't much more in price than this one. Save your time & money and avoid these. Buy another brand or OEM.

Fit perfectly in my 1995 Toyota Corolla. Mine came apart like my life at a gas station, recommended changing the pcv at same time. Fixed my excessive blow by. Thing would blow the dip stick off at full throttle and spray oil everywhere. Mind you it's a 100hp 3speed for 95 it needs to be floored to get anywhere. Got passed by a city bus
