I searched and even tried other Slow cookers before settling with this one... I chose this one because first off "it works as it should", and also I really like that it has both the pre-set and the manual features.. it also has "high and Low" settings.. you can set the timer along with various other features.... The Lid is another plus on this Slow cooker, it has latches to hold it in place with the rubber edges that also assist in keeping the heat from escaping...I got the 7-QT. perfect size, and the ceramic bowl get's very hot and cooks food evenly on all sides... I purchased a travel case also for when I carry food to other destinations... Perfect Slow cooker... I love it... Highly Recommended...
