Works as expected!
This low shank, snap on overcast presser foot fits my heavy duty Singer 44S. It is sturdy/heavy and feels like the same quality as the presser feet that came with my Singer 44S sewing machine. I am relearning sewing again, so I did have to carefully experiment some to get the needle/tension/width, etc., correct before diving in on my project. This overcast presser foot worked as expected for me. I recommend it and would not hesitate to buy other products from this merchant.

Exactly as described
Great low cost version of the overcast presser foot. Fits my Singer Tradition perfectly. The presser foot I received originally was broken, but the seller/Amazon promptly exchanged it for a new one.

Works, but breaks very easily
Flimsy middle piece. Broke after like 15 minutes of using it, I suppose the needle accidentally hit it.

Worth its weight in gold for amateurs/novices!
This will totally level up the cleanliness of your clothing projects. If you just dabble in sewing like me, don't waste your money on an expensive serger machine; you don't need it. Even with the most basic sewing machines you can use this foot to keep the cut edges of your fabric from unraveling. (I have a Brother DM1400. It was less than $200) Just attach this foot, select a zigzag or overedge stitch and line the edge of your fabric up with the foot guide. If your machine doesn't have the overedge stitch (mine doesn't) run a single stitch down the center of the zigzag when that's done and it will lock it in.One thing to know is due to the nature of the overcast bar, you can only do one or two back stitches, so use caution with that, or just do a forward stitch all the way and knot the ends by hand so there is no chance of it working loose. Also, test your zigzag and tension settings on a piece of scrap before you start on your project piece.

broke after a use
I couldn't find overcast pressers in my local stores so I went on Amazon. It arrived pretty quickly, but the thin metal piece in the middle of the foot snapped off the first time I tried to use it.
