I love these poles. They are quick to get setup. They have markings on the poles that you can extend them out to and lock into place. I haven't had any issues with the poles telescoping back in on their own. If they do, there is a screw you can tighten down. The grip is real comfortable and the wrist straps don't hurt your wrists at all. Over all these poles have been my favorite poles as of yet. Black Diamond gear has been a solid purchase to go with.

These hiking sticks are fantastic. They are sturdy yet light weight and very well made. I love the way they adjust in length and lock into place. I’ve owned a few other brands and none can compare. I am 6’8” and weigh 225 lbs. I trust them completely. They are simply the best!

I purchased these for two backpacking trips with my wife and the far extension on one of the poles ended up bent. Once it was bent, it would barely close and open and was quite frustrating to deal with. This is one of the best brands in all of outdoor equipment, just not the best products of theirs.

These are perfect for a beginner hiker since they are light weight and sturdy.

Easily adjustable, might take a bit of trial and error to find the right length but that would be for all poles. Enjoyed a long walk with these seemed to speed me up somewhat, but it may be my imagination. Unobtrusive when carried in a rucksack loop.

Was sent one pole despite 2 poles in description and photo. Packaging was obviously designed for 2 but one was removed. Waste of everyone’s time.

Received a tattered parcel with one walking pole in it. Not impressed
