Caffe Borbone Espresso Paper Pods, Black Blend, Intense and Robust, Medium Roast ESE Pods, Authentic Italian Espresso - 50 Count

We really like the flavor of the Miscela Nera (black blend) dark espresso. We use it in making our Americano's and Macchiato's. It's what we've been using for three years. Will continue to buy it.

I had hoped to use these to make espresso more quickly, but they simply don’t work with a typical home espresso machine. Instead, just water is the result. I’ve tried 2 different espresso machines — both nice quality, and the result is water not espresso.I contacted the manufacturer (Cafe Borbone) not this seller, and was simply told “For future orders, we recommend being careful about which buyer you purchase from on Amazon. Our official seller account name is Caffe Borbone America (formerly Caffe Borbone USA)”However, I see no reason that it matters which seller this comes from. If the CafeBorbone espresso pods don’t work, it doesn’t matter where they are purchased.Sorry Cafe Borbone but it should be very clear on packaging if these are only intended for high pressure commercial espresso machines.

Tastes good wish it was stronger!

So I ordered the Borbone blue ESE pods but received red brand Nespresso compatible capsules. It so happens that my machine accepts both so thought I would give them a try anyway. Crema is week taste is just so so. They do have ESE pods which I ordered and didn’t get but I imagine the crema and taste will be the same or similar. They don't compare to Illy medium roast ESE pods which have a thicker crema and robust taste. Although illy is like 20 cents per shot more but well worth the expense. I’ll use them for cappuccinos but for pure shots, I’ll pass and stick with illy ESE pods or ground Bustello which my machine also accepts. Love my machine!

Just tastes like hot water. No coffee at all. Terrible product. Don’t waste a single penny on this.

not sure of coffee intensity, coffee came out in a fast drip not a flow of coffee

I have been buying the WOLFGANG PUCK PODS, (which are GREAT and WORK 100%) but I decided to try BORBON as a change.All I can say is they are USELESS in my DELONGI machine.... the pressure build up caused me to SCALD myself when I tried to remove the basket as the coffee was not coming throughThe pack of pods less the 2 that I tried is now in the TRASH
