Comfortable and sturdy
I bought this to match the Donner piano (keyboard). They go together nicely. It has a hinged lid; the interior is a little small to accommodate many albums of music, but it's satisfactory, and I probably have too many anyway!

Not really tall enough.
At 5ft tall this stool is not really tall enough for me to sit in recommended piano playing position. Ie with forearms parallel with the floor. It needed to be an inch or one and a half inches higher, for someone of my height. I won’t be retuning it because it would be too much hassle so am using it with a cushion which is ok. Other than that it is a good and sturdy stool and has ample storage space under the seat. Well made too and easy to put together!
