HDLO - Tubeless, Covert High Definition 3.5mm Police Listen Only Earpiece (HDLO-3.5), Clear, 24 Inch

For reference I work on patrol for a major law enforcement agency in a metropolitan area. For the last two years ish. I have been using N-Ear ear pieces. In the two years I went through 6 of them. 4 of them were warrantied and I bought two. So about $300 in two years for ear pieces. Last week my n-ear died on me in the middle of shift. I needed a quick replacement (luckily it broke on my Friday). I have had my eye on a sheepdog ear piece for a while but never pulled the trigger on it because while N-ears were breaking on me left and right, they were incredibly comfortable, and the sound was amazing. But this time I didn’t feel like messing around with n-ears awful customer service, I bought the sheepdog. And I am very glad I did. The overall quality seems good. I’m still unsure about longevity but so far it works amazing. The audio is slightly worse than the n-ear but has less of the annoying white noise when someone keys up. So overall it’s evens out. As for comfort it is on par with the n-ear. It fits amazing. Now for the reason I bought it, cost. At half the price I can say it’s definitely worth the money. Hopefully it doesn’t die on me like the n-ears have.

Audio quality is very good. Wire is very this and almost invisible when wearing. Even though it’s thin it feels good quality. My only complaint is it tickles my ear canal. Kinda hard to get adjusted in your ear right. Over all once it gets adjusted it’s good.

Had the N-Ear prior to this earpiece and I loved it but after using it everyday the wire began to fray and no longer worked. A friend recommended this and I love it. It’s more sturdy than the N-Ear and sounds just as good. The ear piece is comfortable I hardly even notice it and it’s very easy to use.

The product worked flawlessly, up until this past week when the speaker become muffled and hard to hear. I have attempted to reach out to sheepdog microphones in regards to the warranty and have not received an answer or any sort of response. I would give the item 5 stars however the company is not responsive in reference to my warranty claim.

Sheepdog is super cool and feels like a big step up from N-Ear. The quality is excellent, and it works really well. For this type of listen-only earpiece, Sheepdog is the best I have tried so far.

Works well but the wire is tiny and it doesn’t form to your ear at all. Need like adhesive tape to tape it to my ear and keep it in place. It goes all the way in my ear canal too. If the plug piece was a bit bigger or if it gave you more options. I wouldn’t recommend if your ears are bigger.

Used this for awhile and will not go back to a tube. It’s perfect.
