This kitchen gadget is well made. It feels solid in my hand when I am using it. I like how easy it is to get the grated product out of it without risking cutting my finger because the inside well is smooth. I appreciate the saftey cover for when it is not in use..My primary reason for purchasing this was to use it as a zester.. to me if rating on being only a zester I would have given it one star because I think its teeth go into the pith of the citrus.Fortunately, this product has many uses so I gave it 4 stars because it does a great job as a grater. I used it to grate brick cheese. I love how easy it was to use and how fine and delicate the cheese curls were.

The Leciel Cheese Grater & Lemon Zester worked beautifully, especially for the price point. Upon receiving our package, we were pleasantly surprised to find that this utensil was longer than we expected and a very sturdy product. We've used it thus far to zest lime for the icing on a birthday cake as well as grating cheese for a salad. What we really loved about this was the multi-functional ability to both be a grater and a zester. Great product again-- we would definitely recommend this kitchen utensil to others.

This is a very high quality grater but for very fine zest, I mean microscopic level type of lemon zest, this isn't the specialty grater for it. It is seriously sharp, handles well in the hand and can do nuts, cheese, etc. as advertised. It is dishwasher safe. Typically a quality grater like this would be $20 so it's a very good bargain.

Did not find a problem with this unit what so ever, including the price, I use it every day.I thought it would rust up but I do make sure it's dry after washing and no signs of wear or rust, knock on wood.WILL buy again.

Honestly not sure how I feel about this product- the metal isn't connected all that well to the handle, and I cut my thumb really badly on the grate when prepping breakfast the other day. I keep catching my hand on it and it's the most frustrating thing!

Excellent. This really shines if you freeze a ginger root and then grate. It is fast and the results are so nice and fine. Really gets twice the flavor from things. It is sharp, so have a care.

Good grater for zesting, sharp! Cut myself a few times zesting limes because they're so small.
