This works fanastic. Great for quizbowl practice. Used for a year and still all going strong (10 button set.)

We host a weekly game night at our house and over the years I have made my own jeopardy game and these work great! I love the distance they work out and how easy they are to setup! I haven't had any problems yet and have used them over a dozen times!

We wanted a buzzer set for our office Christmas party, where we were going to play Jeopardy (shoutout to JeopardyLabs for their awesome online Jeopardy templates!). After spending a fair bit of time reading reviews on Amazon, I narrowed our buzzer options down to this set, the "Wireless Quiz Answer Game Show Buzzer System", and the newer TM102 by Retekess, and since they all had a similar mix of positive / middling reviews, I decided to buy all three sets and run a test to see how they compared. Spoiler alert, we did not keep this set. Pros: 1) Basically functional! The buzzers all turned on (once AAA batteries were inserted), the screen worked, the remote worked, and everything connected properly. Probably fine for kids, or a group that isn't especially competitive. 2) Interestingly, though this set and the "Wireless Quiz Answer Game Show Buzzer System" turned out to be identical once they were out of the box (which is why my reviews for both are so similar), the remote for this set was actually labelled correctly in English, which made it easier to set up. Cons: 1) The biggest con was that multiple buzzers struggled to "buzz in" correctly on the first tap. We ran tests with multiple people tapping the buzzers at the same time, and out of four buzzers, three would immediately register, and the fourth would need to be tapped a second time -- and then, when tried again, three would register and a different fourth buzzer would need to be tapped a second time (so it wasn't just that one buzzer was defective). The instructions suggested changing the channel if there were issues with the buzzers connecting and we tried that, but it seemed to have no impact. This was going to be a huge issue for a room full of competitive adults who would definitely be upset if they missed out on a chance to answer just because their buzzer didn't work on the first hit. 2) As mentioned by other reviewers, the instructions were confusing. Particularly because there isn't standardized language throughout. I had to use a lot of trial and error to get the system working -- fortunately, there are only so many combinations of buttons you can try, so guessing really will get you there eventually. 3) The voice on the screen was pretty loud and didn't seem to have a volume control or mute function. 4) The buttons are indeed pretty lightweight. I don't think I necessarily thought they would break if smacked firmly, but they definitely wouldn't do well if thrown across a room or dropped on a hard surface a few times. Final ruling: They worked okay, but not the winners. Repacked and returned. You can read my reviews on the other two units, but the short version is that we opted to keep the TM102 by Retekess.

I liked the idea - there needs to be updates to allow for occasions when buzzer has been depressed and wrong answer is given they are excluded from the rest of the round. Some of the pieces were not made well and I will be sending some back

It's a shame, because we had high hopes for these on future game nights, but they just didn't work well. People felt they got the shaft because their buzzer wouldn't buzz. Not good.
