I like the size, the quality of the paper and the fact that there's a pencil holder on the front. I add a long elastic to keep the pages flat when not in use.The paper has a slightly yellow cast. Surprised me at first. I like the slight texture of the paper.

The paper is pretty thin and a little cheap so you won’t be able to use water colors or markers. Pens work pretty well also if you planning to use only pencils/lead pencils you’ll be fine. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 stars (I was about to give it 3 stars) because the paper turns yellow form the sides and I don’t like that. Other then that it’s pretty good for the cost.

Third grade bigger than expected And everyone loves a big surprise the paper quality is awesome the artwork that’s being done on them right now are beautiful my kids adore them we go through a lot of our books and these two I knew they were pricey but I have faith and I’m glad I did

I use for notes/ thoughts/ journal books. The paper is thickand has a nice weight to it. The paper isnt smooth and easy to write on. I don't know this would be good for art ( sketching, drawing, painting or watercoloring.

ok this is a pretty decent product edges get kinda banged up but its pretty nice I recommend

I bought this with a Castle Art pencil set as a last minute item for my fiancé. and she loves the quality. The hard cover with ring binding makes it easy to use on your lap casually drawing, or on a table. The paper has a light texturing to it that ha made it a little bit of a challenge to use with the pencil set, but still feels really good when handling it. The books are sturdy and of reasonably high quality. And best of all, it's a two pack!

These are great for kids but the pages are too thin. MyKids use them with markers and it bleeds onto the next page. We have to add a piece of cardboard or thick paper in between sketches. Also the pages rip too quick or easily from the spiral.

I purchased these as gifts; therefore, I cannot attest to how these handle different mediums. My intention was for them to be used with pencil. They felt very sturdy, and it seems like they will hold up well. I really liked that they have hard covers and perforated pages. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because of how they were packaged on top of one another with nothing in between. The spiral binding left intentions on each book.
