Nova Maple Candy - Pure Maple Syrup Sugar Leaf Candy (8 Ounces)

This is very tasty and melt-in-your-mouth. My only complaint is that I wish there was more of it. All of the maple candies, it seems, are very expensive lately. I will probably purchase this again, but I will watch the prices.

So delicious and creamy! After two years, it’s now a family tradition in our family for everyone to get maple sugar candy in their stocking. I also took some to school when we were reading LITTLE HOUSE IN THE BIG WOODS. Children very happily nibbled while I read the chapter to them.

The media could not be loaded. I have had similar items. They are crunchy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. They melt in your mouth with a delicate maple flavor.Yours on the other hand were heavy and murky. They were hard as if long gone stale. They had an overwhelming taste of low grade maple syrup that at in your mouth like someone poured a bottle of mrs Butterworth in there.Have a nice day.Honestly I really looked forward to getting these candies. Both my wife and i separately took a single bite and said YUUUUUCK

Great flavor!

I grew up in the northeast and my mom's family is from Maine where we often visited. This was always my favorite candy, but I have trouble finding it. This candy is not BAD, but it should not be presumed to be authentic or traditional maple sugar candy, IMO. The traditional candy has a grainier texture - like a dissolving sugar cube that is only smoother in the center of the larger pieces, but this was a much smoother, creamier kind of candy, and the flavor was not very strong. If you were going to melt it, for example and drizzle some light maple flavor over your Christmas cookies - it would likely be perfect.

My husband loved this maple sugar candy. It is a classic. Believe this company when they tell you it is better to buy more frequently in smaller amounts. It stays fresher.

Candy did not taste fresh.
