Protector: A Scifi Alien Romance (Galactic Gladiators Book 4)

Somehow I skipped this one; don't know how that happened but I corrected that fast.I highly recommend this book and series!Anna Hackett keeps hooking me. Every book I've read I feel like I am there watching these people. I know that might sound weird but that's me. When I read and find a book or series I totally get sucked in and join the cast.I think with the right script, director and stars this could be a series on TV or a series of movies.But Hollywood is filled with stupid people.. As seen when the bring back 80's shows..ANYWAY I hope you'll enjoy this series as I have..

Like the previous reads, all the elements of an actioned packed movie ..violence, vengeance and victory. The MFC Madeline a bit turned off with her attitude at the start however she slowly succumbs to the MMC Lore carefree personality but when her workaholic attitude comes into play, a more dominant protective Lore is shown. The storyline concept is similar to the previous reads but the adventure is not. There is more building to the secondary characters and the saga continues ..a must read this series 👍👍👍

I love reading hoorayBooks. It is very intriguing and interesting. The characters are strong willed but full of love.

The House of Galen gladiators welcome her with open arms but she still struggles to deal with her new situation, especially since it involves an attraction to a flashy and sexy gladiator Lore Uma-Xilene.“Sometimes the hardest shells hid the softest hearts.”Madeline is a very controlled woman. She doesn’t like things to be out of place. She has risen to the top by sheer determination to help her son, even if that means she can’t be with him. I really loved her determination to protect everyone and take care of her son. Her story was heartbreaking because she won’t get to see her son ever again, but Lore does find a way to make it a little easier on her, which made me love him even more.“I’m starting to realize I’m not broken...“I’m dented a little bit, but I’m not broken.”Lore is the showman gladiator that everyone loves. He is also a very kind but protective man. He was raised by women and understands Madeline better than anyone else. I found his abilities very fascinating and wish we could have seen more of them. Lore was just the perfect protective and sensitive alpha male for Madeline. I adored these two together and can’t wait to see more of them in future books.This book was nonstop action, danger, and romance. I loved it. Hackett always does an amazing job with mixing action and romance. I am always captivated from the first page and don’t want to put the book down. Series: Galactic Gladiators #4--One Sentence Summary--Madeline is still dealing with her recent freedom from captivity by the Thraxians and she refuses to be charmed by the gladiator Lore.--What are the Issues--Madeline was devastated by her capture and imprisonment by aliens and she can't accept that she'll never see her son again. She's safe in the House of Galen but she wants to stay busy and she's concerned with finding Blake, who was also captured from their ship. Lore once lost everything that was important to him and now he fights as a gladiator and helps those who can't help themselves. Lore wants to protect Madeline but it's hard when she continues to push him away. But he's sure that if he can just get past her walls he can help Madeline see what's good in her new life.--What I Liked and Didn’t Liked--Battle, Magic, and Romance -- There was a lot of elements to this one and I enjoyed the mix of them. Anna Hackett always brings great action to her books and this one had no shortage of tough gladiators fighting. But this time we also got some magical elements with Lore's abilities and I enjoyed that new part of the story. Hackett is constantly introducing new alien species in her stories and I'm loving the diversity and growth of this galaxy.The Showman Lore -- Lore has been a pretty noticeable side character since Gladiator due to the magic he uses in the arena. He's charming and easy going and now we get to see the deeper side of his personality. I thought he was a good match for Madeline. She's very driven, tough on the outside, and afraid to let go of control. But Lore's more spontaneous nature and his charm help win Madeline over.More Earthlings! -- I was thinking Blake would be the last Earth human that was captured from the ships but there's more -- which means more Gladiator books! I can't wait to find out more about these new woman, especially since Hackett set up some interesting things with the new characters.--Final Thoughts--I didn't connect very much with Madeline but I still enjoyed this one and I'm happy to see that there will be further Gladiator books as evidenced by a new group of human woman rescued by the House of Galen.

This is another fantastic book in this series! After her rescue from the alien slavers, Madeline had to make a new life for herself on this alien planet and without her son. She also knew she had to rescue another one of her team who was abducted and enslaved. Lore, a handsome gladiator, took it upon himself to not only be her protector but also her partner in going to the underground fights to rescue that member of her team. There was danger and evil everywhere they turned. Success in their mission and love for each other prevailed.

I enjoyed all the action sequences, loved getting to know Lore better: however, Madeline's changes in demeanor were a bit abrupt as I had been set up to dislike her. Overall tho, enjoyable.

Ooow a fight club in outer space and like it said in the movie no-one talks about fight club. This was an amazing book, fast paced, adrenaline fuelled drama and excitement.Madeline was a harsh character in the first book and even after her rescue she had trouble relating to people and letting them in. But the illustrious Lore battled down those defenses and we got to see a different side to both of them.A brilliant piece of writing from Anna, each book just enhances the world she has created. I love the attention to detail and the way she describes the most interesting things allowing the reader to really visualise it.

I loved this book,once again another great story,the world you have created is amazing and I can't wait to see what happens to my favourite characters i would definitely recommend this book and the whole series to everyone

Book four continues the hunt to find the taken earth people,they thought they was looking for just blaine.who is the blue man? Poor guy I kind of want his story next.

I have been waiting for what seems like ages for this book to arrive. Yet another spellbinding book to the Gladiators series. Although I thoroughly enjoyed it for me it doesn't match the passion of the others. This one was more action packed with a touch of magical romance. I would still recommend buying this book let alone the whole series you won't be disappointed

This story is a good description of all the Gladiators in this series of books. Fierce fighters who have all entered the ring for different reasons. the books all have a similar theme running through them. Each fighter different but with the same underlying feelings and nature.
