UPDATE: Been using for a couple weeks. Don't really use Vox mode as i'm not confident it picks up noise every time. I leave it on and plugged in as the battery can drain quickly. Very happy with it though.This monitor was very easy to set up, all you have to do is turn it on and it connects itself. The camera quality is good enough, although it is quite slow and laggy. Not really a problem though. The sound is definitely loud enough but this can be adjusted if you want. There is a music/lullaby feature, it's quite loud and no way to change it. The sound quality isn't great either, but the for the price, I don't care. I woke up to a crying baby but it wasn't coming from the monitor. I had it on Vox mode to save power but im not sure it was picking my son up, even though it was working earlier in the night. I will update this review tomorrow and test the Vox setting again tonight. The audio picks up no problem in the normal setting. Good value for money, worth the buy.

This is a brilliant baby monitor that I had to purchase quickly to replace my old monitor when it broke. I chose this one because of its price & good reviews & I’m very happy I did. It’s fully connected straight from the box & adjusting the time, date & personal settings is easy as the included instruction booklet is clear. The screen picture is very clear (please note that the photo I took shows it in night mode) & I love that it can be set to be on standby unless sound is detected. Additionally, the monitor does not emit any light in the room the baby is in, so it makes it easier for baby to fall asleep. I find it very useful that the volume can be set to silent. I can hear the baby in the next room at night & just need the camera, so it’s helpful that other members of my household & my neighbours don’t have to put up with noise coming from 2 rooms. I work with young children & go into other families homes as part of my job, therefore I have seen a lot of other types of baby monitors in use. I can honestly say that I can’t see any notable differences between this monitor & much more expensive models. If you just need a monitor for use when at home then I highly recommend this one

Genuinely really pleased with this monitor.We've previously had a different model Boifun monitor (that we had for years!) and wanted a new one but didn't want to have to spend extortionate money on one. I also didn't want one that connects to WiFi (heard far too many stories about hackers!)Went with this because we knew what we were getting with a Boifun monitor and I'm really happy with it and actually prefer it to the other one we had. The display screen is just the right size, and is clear to see what baby's up to. It's really self explanatory to use but obviously there's a manual anyway which explains everything. I love the fact that you can turn off the tune that plays when you turn it on, as this was the one thing I didn't like about our old monitor. The battery life on it is great, and it also has a temperature gauge, time, date and VOX which is a godsend as I don't want the screen and white noise on all night! You will absolutely not go wrong with this, especially for the great price!!

Great little device, video display excellent and range very good! Only marked as 4 stars as sometimes the ‘talk to baby’ function doesn’t work. It is great for the price though!
