Donna Dewberry's Complete Book of One-Stroke Painting

Love her and the book

This book as with all of Donna's books is very informative with many pictures and instructions on how to paint beautiful pieces of art, I've always wanted to be able to paint beautiful flowers, but have always had trouble with shading and highlighting. With Donna's one stroke technique she teaches you how to double load your brush with two colors and magically the shading and highlighting are there with just one stroke. These are easy to follow instructions, whether you have experience in painting or not you will be able to paint gorgeous pieces of art with this book. I highly recommend this book as well as Donna's other teaching materials.

In "Fabric Painting", Donna Dewberry guides you gently through every step, from the right paints, accessories and fabrics. She shows the why and the why not in direct easy to understand language. The quality of the pictures are great, and there are many of them. Donna Dewberry reveals to her readers how to paint on shoes, hand bags, tablecloths and more. If you are interested in painting on fabric, I highly recommend this book because of its 'Excellent Step-by-Step Fabric Painting Instructions'. The book itself is in outstanding condition even though it was sold as used. I did learn a few addition things from the technique explanations and am looking forward to practicing using the instructions. I think this will be a very good reference to have around.

I am trying to learn Donna Dewberry’s one-stoke painting method. I found this book very useful to learn and practice the skill.

Makes learning to make flowers and leaves easy.

This is my third book in the Dewberry collection. This method of painting is so easy therefore becoming so so addictive. A few carefully placed blobs of paint to create a master piece. Simplicity itself to achieve something quite spectacular. I discovered Miss Dewberry quite by accident on YouTube. Watched her tutorials and was hooked and added to my urge to paint by purchasing her books. I would recommend any if not all of her collection but this one is the best one to start you off.... 少し自分の欲しいイラストのイメージより古めかしいデザインでした。書き方は本当にわかりやすいです。

I saw Donna Dewberry in 1986 on The HSN and she was demonstrating from this book. I've wanted this book since then but when I finally went looking for it, I couldn't find it. My hubbie got me a few if her other books while he was trying to find this one for me! I'm excited and delighted to have it in my hands. Donna you've amazed me since 1986 and you just keep getting better!

Le livre est beau, bien qu'en anglais on comprend très bien la manière de procédé. Je suis quand même un peu déçu je m'attendais à un bon gros bouquin, puisqu'il est dit Livre complet sur le one stroke, et on en est loin quand même. La technique n'est pas si dure qu'on peut le croire, il suffit d'avoir le bon matériel ! surtout les bons pinceaux bien souple et absorbant !!!

Das Buch ist für mich als totalen Anfänger perfekt. Die Anleitungen sind einfach umzusetzen und so kann man die Beispiele schnell nachmalen. Der Weg für eigene Ideen ist damit frei. Für Fortgeschrittene ist es vermutlich weniger geeignet, denn hier geht es eher um die Grundlagen. Die Anzahl der Beispiele und Ideen ist für Fortgeschrittene vermutlich auch eher gering. Wer sich also noch nie mit One-Stoke beschäftigt hat, für den ist dieses Buch ein toller Einstieg.
