LOVIGA Portable AC Window Vent Kit, 100% Sealing Window Seal Kit

I've purchased this window seal multiple times, and it's one of my favorite accessories for a portable air conditioner. Once installed, it does a great job sealing around the exhaust hose, helping keep the cool air inside while preventing hot outside air from sneaking back in. The material is durable, and the adjustable design makes it easy to fit different window sizes. I also like that it's waterproof and holds up well over time without constantly needing adjustments. Installation is straightforward, especially if you've installed one before, and it creates a much better seal than trying to improvise with towels or cardboard. Overall, this is a product I continue to buy because it works. If you use a portable AC, this is definitely one of those accessories that makes a noticeable difference in efficiency and keeps your room much more comfortable.

I needed to replace the shield that came with our AC unit that we lost in a move. It was shocking how much they were charging for the bulky plastic ones like what we had before that were a nightmare to deal with. This thing is genius. I set it up myself with minimal input from my judgemental cats, had it installed in less than 5 minutes. The reviews talking about the velco strips not sticking to the window, I didn't think it needed to be spelled out to thoroughly clean a surface before applying a sticker, but we all learn different things growing up I suppose. No draft coming through, it's secure, minimal noise coming through but it's fabric it's not going to be silent. Recommending this to everyone I know with a standing AC unit.

This universal window kit is a HUGE improvement over the ones that came with my portable air conditioners and way more easier to install. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because the none of the strips of velcro backing lined up with the size of my window. I had to fold it a bit at the end to get it to line up. It's too bad they couldn't design it in a way so that you could put the backing on yourself to get it to match your window width exactly. The other thing I noticed is that this lets in more outside noise since it's constructed of fabric. I use it in my bedroom window which is above a busy street. The outside noise is a bit louder now versus using the plastic kit that came with my unit which helped block out more noise. It does the job, though, and I love that if I get a cooler day/night I can detach the fabric from the velcro tape to let the fresh air in, or I can simply pull down the top window. Fabric is very durable and tear proof and should last forever. Have had no issues getting my bedroom cool since using this kit.

Wasn’t happy with the product. The adhesive did not stick to my window. I have to use duct tape to help keep the plastic on the window. No, I would not buy this again for my portable air conditioner. Will not recommend buying this. But I needed it because my city and state was in the middle of a heat wave.

The seal is good and there is a good adhesion to the velcro that attaches to the windowsil. I do wish the material was thermal or had blackout color on one side. Also we live near a busy street so you can pretty much hear everything. Other than that it does seem to keep most of the heat out so I think it is an overall good product.

Doesn’t stick to window seal. This is probably the 10th time retapping.

So much easier to install and more secure than the plastic ones that came with unit.

The seal for my portable air conditioner works well. I struggled with it a little bit because of the way I had to install it in my camper and how the window was set up. Once I got it figured out, it worked great overall. Definitely does what it’s supposed to do.

It's narrow fitting so you have to close the window about to fit it. Also it fits for a long window so I had to cut it and sew some of the velcro from the peice I cut off. It worked good and I'm happy with it

This window seal was very easy to install after following the directions and it fits my window and AC hose perfectly. I like that I can easily, but carefully, peel it down on cooler days to let air in when AC not required. Don’t yet know how it will stand up to the test of time but I am happy at this point in time. The price was reasonable as well. I was also able to leave my screen in place which is a big plus for me. It sure beats struggling with the hard plastic installation kits that come with the air conditioners. The only confusing thing for me in the directions was the mention of “ventilation holes” at the bottom. I definitely don’t see anything fitting that description or why you would need them anyway.

Do not buy the tape on it is terrible and comes off with heat and it doesn’t block outside heat!!!
