Looks like it is well made. It works perfectly with my headphones and fits well. I wasn't sure if I liked the feel of the cord, but it has a lightweight feel, and I like it. I was curious if the cord section would catch on things, but it doesn't. The sound quality is good.

I need an inline mic if I want to use my 599SE while I work. I sit at my desk and the coils are perfect for directing the cord out of the way while I type & use the computer mouse. The mic pics up clearly and it’s great for video meetings. I can tell this is a high quality cable. I get zero noise when I touch or handle the cable. Thank you for the great quality item at an amazingly low price.

just got it yesterday so i can't speak to it's longevity, but it's an attractive cable and fits in my Momentum 2 headphones. I'm not an audiophile but sound quality is comparable to the original cable. One funny thing about the cable- Usually, the sound up/down buttons on a cable work by incrementally raising or lowering volume by one notch whenever the buttons are pressed. On THIS cable, one press on the volume up button STARTS raising the volume and another press on the volume up button stops the volume raising. This means that If you press the volume up button only once it will quickly raise the volume to maximum. Volume down works similarly. I can't fathom WHY they decided to make the switch function this way, but I'm more amused than bothered.

I always like to game with higher end headphones a this allows me greater freedom of control. It also makes the cord way more viable for daily use. The stock cord is very long and rather stiff. I have these on the HD599 if that helps.

buttons take getting used to, and the coiled wire sometimes snares my hair. good mic, quality sound, nice and long. appreciate the added protection of the spring on the wire.

Cable is about same size as original HD 569 cable, but it has a coil towards the headphone side which makes it expand a little longer. I could see how a lot of people expect a much larger, robust cable as this is what you would normally expect from an audio cable. But this cable works well for me.
