Magene H64 Heart Rate Monitor, Heart Rate Sensor Chest Strap, Protocol ANT+/Bluetooth, Compatible with iOS/Android APPs (New H64)

I've had other chest strap monitors by Garmin and Polar that were more finicky than this one. It's a good value for the money. Using it to monitor my HR zones for marathon training.

Good heart rate monitor for the price. No frills app, very basic. Shows heart rate and battery level and that’s it. No tracking or recoding over time but for $20 serves it purpose.

Sucks. Purchased chest strap heart monitor and can’t use it because after scanning the barcode to download the app, a message came up saying “This app is not available in this region”

Works well with Lezyne and Apple Watch. No issues. Results are close enough to diff tracker.

The unit I received worked well for two rides. To start my third ride it showed my heart rate was 147bpm which is over double what it should be. After about 10 minutes the rest of the ride seemed pretty close to what it should be. My fourth ride started with 58bpm/ normal, throughout the ride it did not seem at all accurate. When reviewing the ride on Garmin Connect, it showed my max heart rate at 187bpm my max is 170bpm. I was really hoping this monitor would work well, I have the Magene Cadence Sensor and it works terrific. I was planning to try their head unit if and when my Garmins die. --- I tried to return it but Amazon is making me pay for return shipping with tracking likely because of the lithium ion battery. I guess I'm stuck with a useless HRM and have to buy another HRM to replace my old worn Garmin one. Update: I figured out why my numbers were so far off with this unit. It was due to our cold, overcast weather we've been having which kept my perspiration down and would evaporate the water on my skin that I'd apply pre ride. I started using a electrode conductive gel and it worked fine. Now that the weather is back to normal this sensor is working terrific!!

The strap is the weak link. After intermittent readings on my iPhone (BTLE protocol) and my cyclometer (ANT+ protocol), I connected the transmitter to my old Polar strap (it snapped right in) and both protocols have worked perfectly ever since.

I’ve been using this heart rate monitor for the past 8 months and it’s been everything I need. It connects quickly, stays consistent during rides, and gives accurate readings. No dropouts or issues so far, and the battery life has been solid. For the price, it’s a great value and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

The unit works intermittently, and the app is clunky and poorly designed. You cannot link it to any other fitness app on your phone. My unit is gathering dust in a drawer, as I find it so disappointing to use, I don't bother.

La adquirí para poder hacer algunas pruebas de condición fisica, donde el GARMIN pide banda de pecho y para un registro cardiaco para la actividad de ciclismo. Considero que es bueno el pulsometro del GARMIN 955 y los valores que da la banda son semejantes. Los materiales se sienten bien, la banda es elástica y cómoda, el sensor no pesa en entrenamientos intensos, no rebota. El reloj indica que la batería está llena. El emparejamiento con el GARMIN fue sencilla y no he tenido problemas de desconexión y aparece con una serie de 5 numeros. Si eres un corredor y ciclista popular y te gusta tener un control personal de tu actividad es recomendable

Péssimo, não encaixa a tampa atrás com a bateria, não consegui vincular com outros apps e não dá base nenhuma para verificar.
