Hiragana From Zero!: The Complete Japanese Hiragana Book, with integrated workbook and answer key (Japanese Writing From Zero!)

Couldn’t ask for a better way to learn Hiragana other than a real person teaching a class. I use it everyday and it’s very important in my learning process. Arrived very fast.

If you can't afford or have time to go to special training this is the best and most orderly way of learning the first alphabet of the Japanese language, Hiragana.You generally learn 5 characters at a time, then move on to the next 5 in a logical order, learning a few Japanese words along the way.The book gives a very good, written in English, pronunciation of the letters. The only thing missing, which is impossible in a book, is actually hearing the sound. But with the English pronunciation guides that's really not a problem.If you Have the book 'Japanese From Zero' you don't need this book, but for me it's nice to have Hiragana to study by itself before moving on.

Just what I needed! Sooooo easy to follow!Got so excited and impressed when I notice that it actually help me. Is not the first time I try to learn something on my own and is not easy. But with this method, I'm sure I'll succeed!!

This Book is wonderful for beginners, its sweet simple and most importantly fun! Me being absolutely New to Japanese, loves this book. Its a little childish but it really help you memorize the letters and stroke orders so the childish part can easily be overlooked! I highly recommend this book and the YES JAPAN series for Beginners!

I love all of George Trombley's books!! I'm majoring in Asian Languages and my teacher doesn't hold your hand which means you pretty much have to learn the subject on your own. The hiragana is an excellent workbook to practice without getting too bored.

I have bought a few books to study Hiragana and there all the same, pratice 20x's and nothing else. This book is different. It make you use what you learned in writing the Hiragana in practice and scentences. This book dosn't make you just repeate over and over it makes you use what you learned.

This book was excellent. I had attempted to learn hiragana on my own but found the symbols all confusing and hard to remember, but Japanese From Zero's progressive learning style help so much. I highly recommend this book.

My daughter is enjoying the book. I printed off some blank writing sheets so she can do additional practice for her writing. She enjoys how it is broken down into lessons.

Good book but i recommend you skip it if you have the Japanese From Zero 1 book. It's pretty much the same hiragana lessons plus a few pages of flash cards you can cut out.

Mir macht das Ueben mit diesen Buch großen Spass, es ist nett gestaltet und man lernt nicht nur die Hiragana sondern auch gleich ein paar Vokabel.
