When Amazon listed this under one of their lightning deals, I jumped at the opportunity. Who wouldn't want a 1,000 Lumen Flashlight for under $8? Unfortunately this flashlight is worth its price, but not much more. However Leboal measures its Lumens, it must be by an in house friendly analyzer. We live out in the country and the minute I excitedly opened the package, I had to take it out and see if it had the power. I compared it to my 350 Lumens Duracell and was immediately surprised to see it only marginally outperformed the 350 Duracell. I tried it up into the sky, up against the barn and across the field to the horses and was thoroughly... underwhelmed. I pulled out my 700 Lumens Duracell which actually outperformed the 1000 Lumen Leboal in both clarity and distance. This was puzzling as a lumen is a way of measuring how much light gets to what you want to light, so a more powerful Lumen should outperform a less powerful one on both of these measures. The Leboal might be a tiny bit brighter (honestly hard to tell) but the Duracell easily owned it on how much and how clearly things in the distance were lit up. The Leboal also had a disconcerting visible grid pattern at a distance that is not present in my other flashlights. I switched out the brand new batteries I had installed and tried a different new set of batteries, same result.Puzzled I took the flashlight inside and took a good look at it. I was surprised to see the lens/glass on this brand new flashlight was already well scratched up and fuzzy both on the exterior and under the cap. This didn't entirely explain the underwhelming performance but I am sure it is a factor. If I was just handed the flashlight and looking at the glass I would assume it had been used for a few years. Obviously quality control is an issue.Pros: Price (only if a lightning deal), Exterior build quality excellent this is a nice looking well designed flashlight. Comfortable to carry. Nice to have a flashlight this small that is adjustable, it would be a great emergency kit flashlight for your car.Cons: Lumens rating is suspicious. Lens quality control terrible.

This will light up the whole neighbor hood if you need it, or just the inside of a mouth like we used on our dental mission trip. Up against your finger it will show your bones, not very useful but fun. The batteries seems to last a long time, it’s VERY sturdy. I must’ve have dropped it 20 times. Very strong light. Excellent flashlight all around and well worth the $. Oh and playing with the focus is just pure fun if you’re bored :)

when I received it it was very dusty, looked like it was a return or had been sitting on the shelf for a very long time. put some batteries in to test it out but couldn't get it to work. after figiting with the button quite a bit I got it to turn on (was disappointed by the brightness) but still will only sporadically work. returning product!

lights up the night like you can't believe.

What a great little light! Does what it claims at a low price. I may but more. Had a power outage from a storm and used this to light two connected rooms.

DEFINITELY 5 STAR!!!! I am extremely pleased with my purchase, I love flashlights and this is by far the best plus, for the price!! Amazing! This flashlight is very durable and I can see the light for a long distance I LOVE IT!!!

Ultra bright is right!! And I love the way the beam can be adjusted with a turn of the body of the flashlight. Great purchase.

On/off switch did not work. It was made of low quality parts. My friend happened to have a flashlight that looked exactly the same, but with a different brand written on it. I screwed his switch onto mine and then the flashlight worked fine. You could tell the spring in mine was not as strong.
