IGK On The Money Hair Gloss + Semi-Permanent Color Depositing Mask

This has become my absolute go-to for a hair refresh. I know it might seem a bit pricey to some, but it is honestly so worth it. The color is vibrant, and if you were to follow really good color hair protocol, it would last a while - but it slowly fades and does so nicely. It also leaves your hair SO soft after you first use it, and I was actually shocked at how much I love the smell - almost like a cedarwood smell? It was a very pleasant surprise. For context, I have medium thickness of hair, that is long - about 6 inches past my shoulders - and I use about 3/4 of a bottle. I have grown out balayage/highlights on dark brown hair, so that's mainly what I use it on, but I thoroughly saturated my whole head up to about my ears, then just lightly across the crown. I probably use it every 3 months or so.

I died my hair a shade similar to this, and used it to help blend my darker roots, as well as revitalize color around 2-3 weeks after I got my hair done. I love the way it blended my roots in, and the tone it gave me! I didn’t use gloves or anything and it stained my hands at first, but was pretty much gone within 12 hours. A lot rinsed out in my first rinse, but didn’t bleed anywhere after, even on my white pillow. I do feel like it was somewhat nourishing to my hair, it definitely didn’t dry it out or damage my curls! I will use it again.

I love this hair depositing mask!!! I added mine with a ton of conditioner but it still served so much color!! A little goes a long way!! I LOVE this shade of copper, I was nervous at first thats why I added ao much conditioner but I ended up really like how it turned out. I had black hair, did color oops treatment waited for a few days did a bleach bath and got to a light dull copper blonde color then added this mask and it did absolutely amazing with covering and saving the day from not so even hair..

I used to permanently dye my hair shades of copper and red and decided to quit permanent dyes about 3 years ago. My ends are still copper but roots are grayish. I tried this color depositing mask and prefer the color over other top orange color deposit masks. This one is a nice tone for me and blended my roots very well. The only caveat is it’s hard to get it to stick to roots/virgin hair and hard not to overtone the ends. I’m experimenting with different techniques to get the outcome I want which is basically root refresh with no permanent dye or bleach. So far what’s worked best for me is to wash hair with clarifying shampoo and really scrub my roots, then step out of the shower and towel dry and comb my hair. I put a deep conditioner on the ends to keep it from sucking in too much color. Then put on gloves (important if you don’t want orange hands and nails). Using a color brush I applied to the roots down a few inches. Comb thru and let sit at least 30 mins. Then rinse. It looks great but it does stain the scalp and it washes off the roots in 1-3 washes unfortunately Good product with a nice copper tone that is not too orange or too red. Will repurchase

Strong pigments, leaves hair soft

I wanted to try going to red without it being permanent. Went from blond to red with this color conditioner. It does wash out after numerous washes so. Its great if you want to experiment without making a permanent change. I love this product and the color i have now strawberry blond after multiple washes is so pretty i get so many compliments on it.

I have naturally strawberry blonde hair, bordering on red. I haven't colored my hair in about 15 years. I love my natural color. I recently moved down south and I spend a lot of time in the sun, though, which has caused my hair to bleach out a bit. I have an event coming up and I didn't want to dye my hair, but I wanted to spruce it up a bit. I put this product all throughout clean, wet hair. I left it on for about 1.5 min. The results are subtle in the pictures, but a little more punched up in person. A few of my very blonde pieces on top are a little artificial looking, but probably only to me. I am not planning on using this regularly, and I haven't experienced how long this lasts, but if the product truly fades over 3-12 washes, then this is EXACTLY the result I was looking for.

I have a lot of hair and it is a very light brown to dirty blonde color, I have tried this product twice and with a darker color, both times it did not work in my opinion except to flow down my drain and stain my back. It worked better on my skin than on my hair. First time I followed directions, left it on for about 15 min on dry hair, did nothing, second attempt I left it on for 45 min and still no change in my hair color. Basically, literally money washed down the drain.

Great fiery copper color with nice saturation! Note, I had a very similar colour already in pre-lightenened hair, but this definitely revitalized it!

I would give this five stars but let me give context - I usually use a different product the Moroccan oil one and tried this one when the other was out of stock The use is easy The colour is beautiful Generally I think the level of conditioning is on par However my hairs texture is finnicky and I prefer my usual one and this is an exceptional second choice for me

I’ve used plenty of name brand copper masks - this by far is the best hands down !! And it’s not drying versus other brands. 10/10
