Delonghi EC685.M DEDICA 15-Bar Pump Espresso Machine Coffee Maker, Stainless Steel, 220 Volts (Not for USA - European Cord)

So quiet - love this machine. This is our second one: the first one lasted about 2 years, but we did not descale it at all. By the time we realized the problem, it was too late to save. We got another one because of the quietness of the first one. Easy to use.

This espresso maker is super--easy to use, efficient and elegant design, and clear control panel.

Just bought this from BBB and it’s fine. Had an EC701 for 14years till it started leaking and could not find parts to fix it. Pros: ease of use, programmable (EC 701 was manual and had to make sure you were there to stop the brewing), nice smallish foot print. Cons: the filters are pressurized (what gives DeLonghi?) (waiting on my non pressurized filter) I am using an OXO burr grinder (love it) to grind my beans. After my first brew I was like, oh no; I made a mistake. I nerd’d out on reviews and YouTube. The crema was so so. (EC 701 crema was on point no matter what) After few brews I have it dialed in. I grind my beans on and in between 2 and 3 in the fine area of the dial on the grinder, my first brew was on the 1 setting (finest) in the fine area and the grind setting. With the grind dialed in and not tamping to much the crema and flavor improved. As soon as my non-pressurized filter comes in I’ll update this. Will add the Rancilio steam wand after the warranty is up ( I don’t steam that much unless somebody wants a cappuccino). So not five stars yet till I see how it performs with a non-pressurized filter. I would buy this again and any negative reviews of machine not working (read the owners manual) can be fixed by customer support.

220 Volt? Most kitchen don't have 220 Volt.

This product was defective when it was delivered. The return/exchange process was been more difficult.

This was a European product. The electrical plug would not fit a USA socket. Not useable in this country.

Cansado de las cápsulas, me decidí a comprar esta cafetera por calidad y precio, trabaje en una cafetería y se de que va el tema, la cafetera pesa y eso es buena señal, apenas lleva plástico y el brazo va de una pieza. Para que el café salga bueno hay que tener dos en cosas en cuenta, el café debe de ser de calidad y si puede ser molerlo en casa lo que vayas a utilizar para dos o tres días así te aseguras de un aroma y textura bastante buena y se nota la diferencia de comprarlo molido, la otra cosa a tener en cuenta es como prensar el café en el cazo, hay que prensar con fuerza, ejerciendo un peso de unos 15 o 20 kilos si no es así te saldrá aguoso, lo de espumar la leche y el vaporizador funcionan de maravilla, siempre después de echar el café por que luego tarda en bajar la temperatura y no te deja echar cafe, aunque tiene truco porque si abres para que salga agua caliente baja la temperatura rápido y ya deja echar cafe (no soy partidario de hacerlo a diario) en fin buen café pero necesitas más tiempo para la elaboración puesto que después tienes que limpiar el cazo (no usar productos, solo agua) y el café molido siempre se cae por la encimera

I bought the machine from LBY thinking that it would come with the Singapore/UK plug. Upon arrival, I realized it comes with the EU plug and the warranty is not valid in Singapore. Contacted the seller and they refunded $10 to get a adapter plug and offered to cover repairs up to the cost of the machine within 1 year. I’m impressed by the service and I’m happy with the purchase as it cost about $80 lower than local stores and the machine works well.

اخترافيه للغايه.. لكن تحتاج مطحنه ممتازه هذي المكينه لها عدة انواع وهذي اقل نوع سعرها 450 ريال ما يتعدا وفي منها إصدارات حديثه سعرها 900-1000 ريال وتفرق عنها لا تلخبطون.. هذي اشتريتها 450 ريال والأهم تشتري معها بورتو فلتر مكشوف.. وايضا مهم جدا جدا الطاحونه تكون ممتازه سعرها 400-1200 ريال ضروري طاحونه للإسبريسو خاصه وتحط 18 جرام قهوه وتكبس زين ضروري تنزل قهوه 36 ملم اسبرسو في 28 - 35 ثانيه... إذا سريعه نعمم الطحنه وايضا يفضل تبداء استخلاص 4 ثواني واضغط ازر وقف 10 ثواني بعدين اضغط مره ثاني استخلاص تطلع مثل المكائن الاحترافيه 100٪
