Got this yesterday. Ordered from Amazon. Some concern as I had never heard of this company. The review on Wired and Amazon and checking out their site and this page made me more comfortable. I got the 1.8 GPM handheld with holder and hose. I had some concern as the shower head I've been using for years was 2.5 GPM or even higher. I ordered it because everything else, including the major brands, had plastic parts. This is a beautiful product. When I opened the box, its quality was immediately evident from the metal hose. Not like the 3 other metal hoses we've gone through in our other bathroom. This is super flexible. The shower head and holder are made from brass and stainless steel. No plastic. Nice heft. Real quality. Great materials. I installed it according to the video they have online and FAQs. I did use teflon tape, but only because the FAQs said it would be easier to remove. It had a great spray, and erased my concerns. The shut off button works well, which allowed me to scrub up. The hose moves where you want it - it does not have a mind of its own! It did take me longer to adjust the water temp to my liking; this is likely the result of the fact that it uses less water. After I used the off button and turned it on, the water came out cold, rather than the temp I had set so I will be turning it back on after scrubbing in handheld mode. The box came with two extra washers, initially causing me to wonder if I was to use them. I did not use them, figuring them to be extras. I recommend this product. If, like me, you are tired of the cheap plastic shower heads on the market, this is the cure. You'll get a great shower, save water, be buying a great American design and product, with something likely to last a very long time.

This is a great product! It was very easy to install. It's not plastic, so the parts are very sturdy and I expect them to last a very long time. We have low water pressure, but the water comes out in a comfortably strong stream. The end nozzle moves freely and stays put, and the trickle valve works great if you like a Navy-style extra water-thrifty shower. Having a handle makes cleaning pets or your tub surround easy.

These shower heads have been awesome. Live on well water system with hard water. Never gets clogged, and high pressure is amazing.

I am a truck driver and usually stay away from home for 2 days at a time. I take a total of 4 showers a week at the house. The description stated that this shower assembly is the longest lasting one on the market. Obviously it is not so ! It cost a lot of money and lasted only a short time. From now on I will only buy the 20 dollar spray-head which will outlast this many times over !

This shower head is by far the best shower head I have ever owned, and I have owned a few. I am an aircraft mechanic, very particular about my "tools". This shower head is solid built, brass and stainless, top quality, made to last !! I plan on buying the oil rubbed bronze version for a bathroom I am planning. You know when you hold something and you can just tell that it's high quality? That's what you get from High Sierra. This looks beautiful, is obviously well made, and delivers a great shower while saving a little water. The low-flow isn't even noticeable. This is definitely the kind of showerhead that goes with you whenever you move, and is something to think about specifically addressing in your will. The color and finish perfectly match other purchases from High Sierra.

Purchased this in August of 2018. The shower head gives you large drops of water that don't lose the warmth while falling down to your ankles. None of the stinging needles for some shower heads. We have extremely hard water and the shower head has not had any problems with clogging. Best shower head ever!

We’ve been searching for something like this for years. We have water pressure around 35psi at the meter. (Oxygenics used to make something similar which looked like an engine on a fighter jet.) We’re really happy with the spray pattern (imagine tropical rain storm) and flow rate for both the 1.5 and 1.8 gpm models. Build quality and materials makes the high price seem appropriate.
